WOW.....dude i'd count it....lol......course i am fat and I feel like if i make the effort to get my lard ass anywhere near the chinup bar it is a rep....lol

seriously though I used to do a lot of pullups and there are a couple small tricks, first make sure you squeeze the bar as tight as you possibly can....that should give you the extra juice to get over the bar. Also kind of what zander suggested, arch your lower back, flex the abs, and pull with your lats....you should be doing + bodyweight pullups in a couple years....that would be freaky
 
Hey IL, I was basically chinning your own bodyweight. Total of 300 lbs, I cant imagine how hard they are for you

250 x 1 - was sore and tired from yesterday's back session, and my shoulders kept hurting, so I didn't push it... its first time in a while that I haven't progressed in a main exercise.

Ok I hurt my back really bad on a set of front squats, so probably no lower body for a while. That workout is not worth mentioning. I now have an intense pain going through my right glute right into my calf.. probably a pinched nerve. It aggravated an injury that occured while I was doing a 405 x 3 deadlift long time ago with the most fucked up form possible

I also decided to add more volume, but cut down on intensity, because even one set at top volume is burning me out.

Today I went to gym to do some upper body, and some idiot started spotting me on a set of 105.

+70 x 2.5 - funny thing happened here with people staring at me, but won't mention it

Never give up on deadlifts. . .walk into the gym with pure determination to conquer a movement that scares people.
 
I was basically laughed at by a huge guy, who told me that pullups with so much weight were useless, even though I was doing it with full stretch and chin over the bar. I dont want to mention details because they probably are on this board too. I hate my gym. He was personal training a new guy, and was showing him how to do freaking cable extensions.
