I am new here and I've been working out for six months and I've burned a lot of body fat...I haven't been able to gain a lot of muscle mass however and any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated...
Peruse the training and diet sections of the board. People joke around here in chat, so don't take it personally.

Get a copy of "Body for Life." It will give you the basics.

You don't look bad at all, now, by the way.

Good luck!

excerpt of Body for Life Cliff Notes:

Lift like a MoFo, Cardio like a MoFo, eat clean like a MoFo, and you'll get good results.

Glad I pissed away my $$$ on that.

high protien, moderate fat, low carbs. . .throw in some cardio too. . .20 to 30 minutes 4 or 5 times a week. . .you're 47. . .the cardio will help to ensure that your gains are quality. . .

check out some of the other boards on ef. . .there's lots of good info out there. . .

welcome to ef. . .we need some more 40+ around here. . .i'm 42 btw. . .

Thanks for you comments

I cannot accept the advice that because I am 47 it's too late...

I will take my questions to the training board...I am new here so I don't really know a lot about where to go here..thanx all...

Yeah, training board (or powerlifting board) would be the credited choice. The diet and anabolic forum will prove useful as well.
