My friggin arm injury is not rotator cuff!!! :(

I was doing some research online, y'know anatomy, injuries, etc...according to all the drawings and all rotator cuffs exercises, that's not where I have the problem; I don't feel any pain doing rotator cuff exercises; in fact, I can do any daily normal task without feeling any pain; it is just when I move heavy objects, when I lift heavy objects and of course when I workout.

However, looking at the anatomy graphs, my pain seems to be right in the deltoid insertion in the bone...what a friggin pain!! Probably started with a shoulder excercise.

Will ibuprofen help recover? or that shit only works for pain?

thanks.

you will never know unless you see a Doc

also XRAYS dont cut it, insist on an MRI if your injury feels REALLY seriuos

I'd set-up an appointment to get an MRI to take any guess work out. I'm gonna do the same here soon hopefully.

for what its worth I had a friend who thought he had a rotator cuff shot and it turned out to be a vertebrae. After considering surgery, he let a chiropractor who was a client of his work on him and it wound up fixing the problem.

most any orthopedist will tell you that an MRI is a guess. i have had 7 or 8 and only a couple that were actually accurate

Yea, MRI's always ended in surgery with me. Never were accurate to the extent of my problems either. I always start with Chiro's then try some alternative stuff, (prolo, etc). Then see the ortho...

looking at diagrams on the internet is not nearly enough to even give you a clue on what is going on inside your shoulder either.

also, if it is not your rotator cuff, you should be happy

You should count your blessings it not your rotator cuff. Thats probably the worst shoulder injury you can have.

From your description of the location of pain it seems to be bursitis. I got it bad playing baseball and it really never goes away unless you stop working it and rehab.

not sure where you are talking about with pain point.. on mine it is where the deltoid cuts down into the bicep.. my delts are well defined boulder type and tapers into toooo small of an bicep... but right where they meet i painful to me.. went to the general doc and had a cortisone shot for bursitas and that helped for 2 weeks.. said the only other thing for me is physical therapy.. i did not go and still hurt like.... doing seated military presses and heavy bench.. good luck bro and probably bursitas..

Thanks guys but I repeat that my pain is not near any joint!!!

It is half way down the bone, on the side of the arm, just where the tip of the deltoid inserts into the bone. That's exactly the point. I have to press very hard there to feel the pain and/or handle heavy weights....I guess I'd go to the doc...is not killing me but is uncomfortable to workout. And of course is affecting my performance...

thanks yall!!!!
