My friend's lats are uneven! Help him! (pic included)

you can't do anythning about that.. my pecs are similar, but it is not too noticable...

it is not really too bad. I dont think the average joe would even notice. By the way, since no one said anything, It looks like you have put some time in. Your overall back looks really good. I wouldnt sweat it!

my friend's lats are uneven, and he needs some expert advice on how he should go about correcting it. i know a lot of people are going to say more one arm rows, but hopefully there are other suggestions. let's hear them.

Here is his picture

here is his current back routine:

behind the neck pulldowns 4x8-12
one arm rows 4x8-12
close grip pulldowns 3x8-12
seated rows 3x8-12
machine pullovers 3or4x8-12
weighted hyperextensions 3x30-40

This seems like a little bit of overkill/over-training. He's doing 20 sets every week on his back??

Cut that shit down to 12-15 sets....might help.

not just that, i don't understand his hard-on for using all machines...

one thing you can do is suggest he visit an established rolfing therapist. They can realign the body back into a balanced axis. Looks to me like he has some sort of biomechanic problem that is causing one side to over compensate for the other.
