My First Seizure

Hey everybody - longtime lurker, first-time poster... I'd ordered 40 vials of Deca online from an overseas source (Asia). I did have a tracking number and it had been stuck in Customs on the west coast for over a week and so I was assuming the worse (and an over-active imagination doesn't help any). Today in the mail, I got two seizure notices from U.S. Customs (the shipment was split into two).

I've cruised this and other boards and noticed that most people say that a seizure notice is a concern but not on the magnitude of say, the DEA busting down my door and burning down my condo. The main wisdom seems to be to never have an order sent to that address again and to get rid of the letters.

Plus, I'm wondering if 20 vials in two consecutive shipments might have flagged as well - though that seems still under the class of 'personal use' if prosecuted versus 'intent to sell'. (How is that Steroid Law book anyway? I find the 'save the children' politics behind the classifying of them as controlled substances fascinating...)

As soon as the order was held up, I wiped my entire hard drive of any AS-related content and bookmarks, cleaned my browsers of cookies and history and am closing down the email address I'd used as the reference for the order.

No previous offenses (not even a traffic ticket). This was the second time I'd ordered anything at all from anyone. The vendor guarantees delivery and will reship if I ask (to a different address of course).

Should I just move to San Diego and take the trolley to Tijuana once a week?

I don't believe you have anything to worry about. Cleaning out your files and house is a good idea but chances are 99% you will not hear from Customs again unless you have another seizure.

So how many times did you order international before this? Just wondering what the seizure percentage rate is on international shipments. Thanks

they don't actually list everyones address that has a seizure, i know people who have had things seized at addresses numerous times and still receive to the same one, you actually think someone sits there and types in the address and cross references it with a known list of past seizures???

This was my second order from this source - and my second time ever ordering. The first order was ordered, cleared Customs and to my door in under four days.

I wasn't sure - but with John Ashcroft in charge you never can tell. Doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to create a national database - especially for stuff with a tracking number, so the address is already in a system - you could easily flag mailing addresses all over the country and easily sort by last name, firstname, ZIP, etc. These days it seems you can't be too paranoid...

Thanks for the advice... anybody else got some 2 cents?

I've been having problems getting generic meds from overseas.. no siezure notices, but some stuff just hasn't made it.
