If they don't do the job, then get rid of them! If they do an excellent job keep them in office! Don't fall for idealistic mumbo jumbo and scare tactics vs another party! Celebrity is fine if the celebrity will get the job done! Otherwise they are useless just as most politicians are! A typical above average person can do a better job in office then them! If the guy cant even debate his ideas (mainly cuz he has none) then it is unlikely that he will get the job done.

Thus the debate is a valuable tool to see where the candidates stand.
