KARMA THREAD>>>>The Jury is getting ready to give Casey Anthony justice FINALLY?

Sadly, I don't think she'll get murder 1 or 2. Top charge I see them hitting her with is manslaughter 2. Even though I think she's guilty as hell, there's too much conflicting evidence, and I don't think based on evidence alone they can get the top charges.

Jury will take probably 12-14 days in deliberation, as I think a LOT of evidence and testimony will want to be reviewed or clarified. That's provided they aren't hung.

Total sentence on all charges (Man 2, Neglect, Endangering, etc.) 25-40 years with typical parole review provisions after 12.5 years or so.

Trust me, I hope I'm wrong about this. But from an analytical standpoint of evidence, I think this might be re reality.

Good point

The defense has given there closing argument to the jury, and it appears it will be in the jurys hands tomorrow. Karma will be awarded to the person that is the closest for the following two questions?

1. How long they will be out before a verdict is reached? I say 6 hours

2. Exact sentence handed down by the judge? I say, life without Parole

I will award multiple people and give away FREE K.

n, defense offer closing arguments in Casey Anthony trial - CNN.com

1) 14hrs
2) 30yrs with chance of parole

She probably won't get life, unfortunately. Just my $.02, then she'll get out, get a ghostwriter to write a book and get rich off her story and the original Lifetime movie.

What should happen and what will most likely happen are way different in my opinion. I feel they should bury her alive and let her suffer or put her in a glass tank and slowly fill it with water so which on the 30 or so days it is full for a world to see live.

I hope you're wrong.

Cindy, I hope I am too. I just went by everything I have seen and read about the case, as well as legal analysis from both sides.

Most analysts seem to feel that the prosecution hindered their own case, and hurt themselves. From the live coverage I've watched, I'm apt believe that as well.

Emotionally, I'd more like to see her rot and get abused in prison for the rest of her life, than get an almost "easy out" with the death penalty. If I was a juror though, there is no way I could vote guilty on anything higher than Manslaughter 2 based on the testimony I've read and seen. Who knows though, she could just have a jury out gunning for her as well.

The prosecution really hadn't done a great job during closing arguments compared to the defense, but today's rebuttal was awesome. They definitely won some people back.

Great. now lets see what happens. They will have a verdict before the end of the day is my prediction.
