Here is why I am no longer a bodybuilder, but now look better than a bodybuilder:
-Creatine jams up the kidneys and god knows what else. This should not be in anyone's diet. I was doing 15 grams a day for 15 years, and abruptly cut that out a year ago when I made my health transition change.
-Cooked eggs clog up your body due to all the cooked cholesterol and saturated fats. I Eat raw eggs now from a healthy source of eggs (cage free, organic, etc..)
-Dairy products in general is unhealthy (even protein powders), so I cut them all out. No humans should be eating dairy for any reason!
-Bulking phases are totally unnecessary and no one should be doing them, unless you absolutely need to get bigger (such as a football player or something). Eating too many calories causes you to shorten your life and causes you to get "jammed up" with diseases down the road. Calorie restriction is actually way healthier for you.
-Too many grains is unhealthy, people should replace grains with raw vegetables. The only animals on this planet that are designed to eat grains are birds. Humans should not be eating any grains.
-Supplements clog your body, enlarge your organs and should be very limited. I only recommend fish oil, and maybe a few others! I also cut out all thermogenic pills, or any kind of powders. As all this stuff will do nothing but make your health downspiral to your death.
-No need to work out too much. People work out way to much and put too much unnecessary stress on their bodies. There is no need to do large amounts of cardio or weight lifting sessions. All I have been doing is a few short intense sessions a week of both cardio and weights and I am in great shape because of it. I am working out a LOT less now and see better results just from eating and living healthier.
-And don't get me started with all the anabolic drugs out there!
-I think bodies that are pumped up too much with all this gunk look like crap!
Other changes I have made from bodybuilding to health have been:
-I now water fast a lot, where I spend 1-2 days a week just consuming water only. This is also called intermittent fasting, which is extremely healthy to do.
-I do fruit cleanses a few times a month, for example I will only consume grapes for a serious of 3-4 days (grapes are a great cleansing food).
-I now make a green vegetable juice (usually 3-5 times a week), which is very healthy for you.
-I cut back on the amount of cardio I was doing.
-I now eat a lot of raw wild salmon, raw grass fed beef, and generally more raw food in general. The only cooked foods I have are chicken breast occasionally and black beans every now and then.
-I never do bulking phases any more.
-I cut out just about all my supplements I was taking (except fish oil).
-I now lay out in the sun for about 15-20 minutes a day to obtain solar energy (this is extremely healthy for you!)
-I now try to eat a 95% plus organic food diet.
-My mental aspects have changed a bit as well. I now no longer care about how much muscle mass I have. Why do I need muscle mass when my job does not require having a lot of muscles anyway? Most girls like guys that are naturally leaner than guys that are all jacked up from carbs (from grains) and cooked meats. Health is MUCH more valuable than having more muscle mass in my opinion!
These are the main benefits I am experiencing going from a bodybuilder to just health:
1. I always have a six pack! I have had a six pack non-stop for a whole year now! Back when I was a bodybuilder I was constantly bloated and looked crappy.
2. I sleep better.
3. I think better.
4. I communicate better.
5. I look better. Getting girls now is so easy its retarded.
6. My blood pressure is lower.
7. I guarantee you my glands and organs are much cleaner and work more efficiently.
8. I feel more spiritual with myself.
9. I no longer HAVE to eat 6 meals a day and need to have an eating schedule to live by. Now I focus on just eating healthy foods at any time I want and I feel free to just fast and skip food when ever.
10. I am way lighter and feel more mobile.
I can go on and on with this, but you get the idea now hopefully..
