I just met with my attorney.
He told me if it was him he would let it pass.
The police are not filing charges against me. They know that we run a tight ship and we are very professional. I guess the police turned the guys away when they tried to file charges.
What my attorney said would happen if I filed charges was that my name and picture would be all over the front page of the newspapers. It would be unwanted attention.
He did say that if the guy pulled some strings and got a judge to pressure the cops into filing charges that at that point I should file also.
If that does occur one other guy I work with will be filing charges also. The charges would be assault, battery, and criminal threatening.
At this point I am letting it go. I also called the guy that does the schedule and told him I was done working there. No more bouncing for this guy.
I am 33 years old. I have a career that could be ruined. Too much to lose.
Now I will have to find something else to keep my busy.

none of you bouncers is gonna listen to ole' HT. i was a bouncer for nearly 16 years. with a break or 2 here and there. i was a bouncer even after i got capped. but it's really not worth it. bottom line, BAR people = bottom of the barrel. they're all there cuz they have issues to dump on people.

I just found out the police are investigating the incedent. Apparently, the guy made a bunch of phone calls. I am extremely annoyed at this point.
I also found out more details. The guy should shut his mouth. He assaulted a few people. He was extremely intoxicated also. I am not going to hold back on the details of what happened. So far they have interviewed a couple of people. I am waiting for the call at this point.
