FUCK, I did it again!!!!

hmmm, damn it gawd, now you got me changing my mind again. I'll give you an example of why I thought of dropping it:
Last week I did some ab work and the next day I had this fucking excrutiating pain in my tail bone. I mean down at the end of my tail bone, not lower back muscle. It hurt only when I would bend the wrong way and it hurt bad. the next day i worked through the pain for a shoulder/tri workout and it kind of seemed to go a way. then I tried abs again a couple days later and same thing happened, and it's still a bit painful. I skipped legs as I didn't think I could squat, but I'm still able to hit upper body. I'm taking ldex at .5mg eod which is keeping the bloat manageable. But I'll heed your advice and stay on the dbol for the rest of this week and see what I feel like. I was only going to run it for about 4-5 weeks anyway. Plus I'm out of town and not lifting on Wed/Thurs, so maybe that will give my tail bone some time to heel.

good deal. the sides go away. i was having enormous trouble sleeping becasue of the joint pain and i was bitting on my jaw all the time. the discomfort and head aches whent away after 3 weeks and then i just felt pumped to no end when working out. but if you do decide to come off the d bal. you can always send them to me. lol. i am running d bal my ENTIRE CYCLE starting on monday. (crosses fingers) but seriously, i could feel the strength gains deplete just days after i got off d bal and thats not somethgin you really want to feel when your in the middle of a cycle. lol. the sides are a pain but the deplete after a few weeks. 1

i wouldnt blame it on the dbols..

it really sounds like an injury stemming from improper form.:)

satch, I really don't think it's due to improper form. I've been doing the same exercises and I'm a real stickler about proper form. I can just feel the decrease in my mobility when on dbol. I can't stretch as far and this is exactly what happened on my first cycle, except I tried pushing through it and that's when I hurt my shoulder. In fact, my shoulder was fine up until the time I started the dbol, and I am not lifting any more than before. On the contrary, I'm lifting the same weight, with even more strict form because i'm afraid of hurting my shoulder. and the tail bone thing, I don't know what the fuck is going on with that. today it feels fine. i'm going to try some squats tomorrow to see how it goes.

i hear ya bro..

if you feel that the dbols are causing you immobility and thus injury then you should stop them.

i've had the same tail bone injury that you're talking about and it stemmed from improper form.

anyhow, i havent had any backpain for about a year now.... ever since i started to deadlift. my lower back, since, has gotten SO much stronger and bigger its sick!

if you dont already deadlift, i'd strongly suggest doing so.

thanks for the encouragement satch. I'm going to tough this next week out and see how it goes. I'm going to start deadlifting again next year. I'm just not ready to reinjure my lower back while I'm on this cycle.

understandable...

i think most deadlifting injuries can easily be prevented by decreasing the weight and by REALLY watching the form.

i see too many 'fat headed ego freaks' loading 3-4 plates on each side and their form is begging for an injury.

personally, i'm 214 pounds and quite lean. not the strongest guy but can hold my own.. i deadlift no more than 225. make sure my butt sticks out and that my form is smooth as butta. do 4-5 sets of 6-10 reps and chilling.

good luck my friend.

Seated leg presses can be worse on your back then squats..as you said when you lift your ass off the seat you are putting a tremendous load on your lower back. If you squat correctly the I would think the load on your lower back should be minimal.

you're 100% correct Jersey, when I squat I don't feel any strain on my lower back. Quite the contrary on the leg press. I doubt I'll be doing those anytime soon. Squats, I'm slowly adding weight. but it's good to hear that satch, who is 214lbs is only deadlifting 225. at my peak I was hitting 275 and the form was just ok. Anything beyond 225,my form would suffer. Anyway, I'm so over the big weights. I'm 170lbs and not a big guy and there's no way i'll ever be able to keep up with the big boys, and I'm not even gonna try to. i'm sticking to good form and as the years go by, the weight will slowly progress and eventually I'll be lifting a respectable amount with hellagood form.
