Fish Oil Making me Fat ???

lazer84

New member
I have taking GNC Fish Body Oils 1000 to try & improve my HDL/LDL levels & I swear they are making me fat. From research, I was told you need 3-5 grams daily, meaning I have to take 10 of these gel caps 3x daily. Each gelcap has 1g of fat.
I know there are better options than these gelcaps--like Coramega lquid form, but I bought a supply of these gelcaps. I swear their going straight to my gut.
Any help appreciated

its 300 extra calories, so it could be making you gain weight.

btw- 10 grams of fish oil per day is real high end dosing.

you should get concentrate.

if you want to improve cholesterol (without extra calories)
Sesapure
Red Yeast Rice

Would using both Sesapure & concentrate Fish oil be smart. What is Red yeast rice? Is it just a form of rice yu can purchase at the store
Thanks

yes they stack well.

its a supplement red yeast rice extract (you can find it at any health food store or online)- the active ingredient is the same as the drug lovostatin

Bro each cap is 1 gram of fat
you want to take 3-5 grams daily right
so take 3-5 caps daily with meals not 10 caps 3x a day

27-45 calories worth of fish oil is a lot different than the near 300 you will get from 30 caps...

garlic is also good for cholesterol levels
monounsaturated fats like the fat found in ANPB and an assortment of other nuts is great for lowering your levels to the more favorable level you are looking for... PM with any questions keep it up bros DETROIT FIRE

i honestly felt like fish oil made me fat as well. like real bad with the ove handles... idk it was prolly all in my head... ive used garlic before and i think it worked well... again who really know, but im gunna pick some up before i start my dbol.. that and mad milk thistle.

did seem like craberry extract and mat water on tren was the key to helping the kidneys :coffee:

just take the coreomega packlets 2 times a day. I know taken in 3-5 grams, but for now, just take 1-2 grams a day. I used to think that also, but I find that it really doesn't make ya fat. Also, there are brands of fish oil concentrate that are 1 gm per tablet! but yes, 10 of those suckers a day is way too much bro.

Holy byach, did I misread or what lol I thought each cap was 100mg--so I figured I needed 10 for a gram. I'm an idiot...

Granted fish oil is fat, which means extra calories....but it's "good fat", just like flax / olive oils... I always thought good fats don't significantly contribute to fat-gain... if anything, they help prevent it?
