do your wrists hurt when you do curls with a straight barbell?

Mine do, even if I don't do that much weight. It feels as if my wrists are not able to stay inline with the arms, and just separate or something. I think I got that from boxing. I really don;t care about it, just wanted to know if anybody else has this
 
I do them with a wide grip if I use a barbell. At the top of the rep my wrists are almost fully supinated. It feels more comfortable to me that way.

I started using "elbowstraps" a month ago and it rocks! Before I couldnt do heavy curls, not even with ez-bar. Give it a try!
 
My wrists never bother me no matter what kind of curls I do, or any other movement for that fact and I don`t have thick wrists, (7 inches). However...they used to bother me when I was involved with the martial arts after hitting the heavy bag.
 
Yeah I can't use a straight bar for curls at all. I've tried different widths and everything, it just hurts like hell. I have to use the EZ curl bar, and even then sometimes that hurts like hell.
