do your wrists hurt when you do curls with a straight barbell?

I know your pain, it so sucks! But try the straps it really helped me.
 
i have another thread on this also. I have such bad pain in my wrist/ forearms.. more my forearms even when i use ezbar.. Ive done everything to try to fix it. I drastically lowered my weight (didtn help) I stopped lifting bis for 1 month (didnt help). Maybe ill try the straps.

What type of straps can i use for my forearm pain? I need them asap. It hurts doing 40lb preachers and i dont even get a pump from it. Doing over 100+ isnt too hard on my muscles but is unbearable on my forearms to where i think they are gonna break.
 
I get them only when doing reverse curls with a straight bar, feels like my wrists are gonna pop. It sucks because I would like to do reverses with the bar, any suggestions ?

It never happens anytime else to me... wierd
 
Mine start to hurt when I do the heavy 5x5 barbell curls. I haven't found any relief myself doing a wider grip. They don't hurt when doing alternating dumbbell curls or incline dumbbell curls, but the heavy barbell is quite painful at times. I guess as long as my forearms don't break I'm okay.
 
i hurt my wrist in a car accident maybe 10 months ago and i dont think i will ever be able to lift a strait bar, or anything heavy with my palm facing up. it hasnt got 20% better even with 6months of physical therapy, 6 weeks of that i was in a cast.
