I am nobody to judge anybody. What two grown adults do in private is their business. How their actions affect their friends and family, is for those close to them to worry about. I think we should all keep from making judgments about others because none of us are perfect.
I also advice for all of you guys who decide to meet and have a relationship with others on the forum, to keep these encounters private and OFF the forums. In all my years as Admin I have seen how many times these romances have spilled over into the site and become a problem that gets tossed on my lap.
Smurf and Chris should have known that being open about their relationship would draw attention from all of the members, and that comments would be made about their respective marital status.

I don't see what the big deal with any of it really is. I did not notice any huge insults in this thread. Basically all I see is people voicing their opinion that a married man (whom still resides with his wife) is hooking up with another chick that he met over the internet.
Maybe if instead of just flirting like crazy on threads they also included some facts like that Smurf is seperated and that Lumberg and her are done (so that relationship does not matter) and also that Chris is with his wife only until a divorce is settled (yet they have separate lives like a separated couple)...Instead of shhhhhing everyone that mentions his wife or getting pissed off at the mention of his wife or at her husband..

True, what smurfy and chris do in their private time is their business. However, this isn't, nor has been...their private time. It is on EF, in public view. Their actions are transparent and as with all questionable issues, will spark emotional commentary and debate.
Over the past few years I've learned what matters most in my life are relationships...the ones I have with myself, my family, my girlfriend, my friends, my coworkers, strangers. I've been trying to see the bigger picture of my actions and how it affects people around me. I am always conscious of how other people view me not because I want to please every one, but rather to use the feedback to improve myself as a human being.
Chris, Smurfy - it's great isn't it? Fresh, new, exciting! You found someone who truly understands YOU! Where have they been all your life, who knows. It's obvious you two are infatuated with each other and might actually have a future. There is nothing I love seeing more than two people happily together...because at the end of the day that is ALL you have...each other. The world is a rough place to be alone.
On the other hand, just think about how it affects your loved ones, children, family, friends. How do they view you? Are you being true to them, to yourself? If things don't work out and you are left alone, will people still respect you as an individual based on how you treated past situations? You won't know until it happens. The grass is always greener. Think ahead. Use heart to dream and your head to guide.
Peeps, just be respectful of those around you. Sometimes keeping things quiet is the best thing...don't accuse, defend or hate...just be you and go forward the right way because nothing is guaranteed, especially when you're placing faith in people.
