Can 5x5 be tweaked to fit my schedule, or should I find a new routine?

I had been on the intermediate 5x5 program for a couple of months and just finished an unplanned, unfortunate gym hiatus of about 3 weeks. At this point, my schedule has me limited to only being able to work out on Monday night, Tuesday night, and Thursday night (no, I can't change anything to make additional room for lifting unfortunately).

I used to always have 1 day between workout days in order to do the 5x5, but I'm not sure if the program will be as effective with no gap between Mon/Tues. I also have had issues with my back in the past and am not too excited about the prospect of deadlifting only 24 hours after squatting 300+ lbs.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just not worry about it and go ahead with the 5x5 M/T/R schedule, or are there other routines that would be more effective for me?

Thanks!

Friday's session is the most intense squatting session in which you're supposed to attempt the next level up weight and finish off with a set of 8 reps. That wouldn't help unfortunately... might actually make it worse and leave me more prone to injury from insufficient rest.

Just act like its a sunday tuesday thursday schedule which is just like M W F. so what, you gotta go monday, tue and then thurs, thats only one day off..I would maybe try eating a lot more carbs on sun/mon/tue and just kinda overeat and maybe consider a supplement like Lglutamin or some kind of recovery thing. Maybe do deadlifts on the last day of the week??? just play around with stuff, see what works for you . you'll figure it out.
