Been a while since I've posted, but I've been lurking here and there.

Long story short I got busted by the feds, got a deal & ended up on probation. All for ordering some shit from overseas. No I didn't rat on anyone... the feds don't give a shit about "Hong Fat" in China.

Anyway, I know I'm an idiot for getting shit sent to my house (I'm ready for the flames) - but I just got too comfortable. It didn't seem like a big deal to place that order because I knew I wasn't selling, etc.

I allowed myself to get tempted with how cheap raw ingredients were and how easy it was to google & find a contact willing to send. Minimum order amounts fucked me. When customs intercepted the package, it made me look like a dealer obviously & prompted the fun 8am raid by about 12 agents.

IF YOU GET BUSTED, YOU WONT BE DEALING WITH LOCAL LE, YOU WILL BE DEALING WITH THE FEDS!

Anyone here thinking about or actually ordering gear online, PLEASE educate yourself on these things & make smart decisions:

1. Federal drug equivalency table
2. Federal drug quantity table
3. Units of measurement for anabolic steroids
4. Federal sentencing guidelines

For example:

100g of RAW Boldenone (liquid) would be considered 200 units (because .5ml = 1 unit).

This would fall in the range of a base offense level of 8 (at least 250 but less than 1,000 units). You would most likely get probation if this was your first offense.

BUT

100g of RAW Testosterone (powder) would be considered 4,000 units (because .025g of anything not liquid or pill = 1 unit).

This would fall in the range of a base offense level of 12 (at least 2,500 but less than 5,000 units). According to the sentencing guideliens, this would be 10-16 months.

If that SAME Testosterone was in a liquid form, the measurement would be different & you would be at a level 8.



I'm not trying to teach anyone to be slick about this stuff, just trying to help educate a few bros because I never bothered learning this information myself until I had to, and by that time it was too late.

Sure probation isn't going to be that bad, but 15k in legal fees, and over a year of hearing "still under investigation" with no real information seriously displaces your life and really makes it hard to have any ambition for anything - in the back of your mind, every day - you think you might just have to "go away".


I know this is a legal thread, but I thought this would be a good place to post since it will get more eyes on it.

Well, it i sillegal. Whether we agree with that or not, he knowingly did cross the line and got caught. That's what many are willing to risk to get teh jooz.

Is amazing why they spend so much time, effort and resources on this... when they should be attending other matters... ... is easier to control a weak, defficient testoterone, estrogen riden male... if they undestood what the gear is a tool to build our incredible, good like bodies... is amazing.. estrogen is legal.. testoreno not... we are 1/4 the male our grandfather were... look at the world today... look at the regular males today.... this explain.. if not all.. allot! thanks for the post BRO!!!

Incredibly sorry for your situation tical but agree that this thread serves as a great warning to all. I have been guilty at times of complacency but you just cannot afford to be with what we do.

did u get a customs letter before the raid? how long did they raid after they intercepted? asking for people that have had packages intercepted in the past obviously
 
Sorry to hear about your situation. I am just curious as to how many orders have you placed before? Could they have been tracking you over the course of time or was it just one decent sized order?

DO NOT ORDER ENOUGH TO SELL!!!

The chances of getting busted for personal usage is next to nil. If you look like you're going to profit they will take you down and take you down HARD.

I don't know know what else it takes to get this message across.

This is VERY true.

The temptation of getting a "deal" combined with the sellers minimum order requirements and me having some extra cash burning a hole in my pocket screwed me. I never planned on selling anabolics, I already have a very comfortable living situation. This doesn't matter to the court.

To them, the only justification for receiving a large amount of any illegal substance is the intent to distribute it.

Learn from my mistakes bros. I don't want anyone to have to go through this shit.
 
great thread! i too find myself getting comfortable, its like you have a crack dealer at your fingertips... all you have to do is have the $$$, no hand to hand transaction, no going to a crackhouse at 3 in the morning.
 
I wonder if the same rules apply to orders from "Domestic" sources? Are your chances better if you spend the extra dough and only go with people that ship domesticly? I also wonder if the feds are the guys that are shipping domesticly? I know the feds do sell street drugs. To creat a sting and to watch who the main dealers are.

Many years ago I heard of a bust in Marin County. The deal was for a large amout of something the most users put up their noses. Well the bust went down and hey guess what the sellers where feds also. Oops ( and I heard this from a fed ). I'm sure that they are doing the same thing with gear.

from what i hear, overseas = imoprting. domestic = possesion. i may be wrong, but i think posession is a more serious chargs
 
With things the way they are now I would NEVER order raw materials. I'd rather pay for something that was pre-made because it looks like what it is......personal use. Powders look too much like intent to manufacture and distribute. I'm glad to hear you will not be going away bro and thanks for posting this. I think many of us get "too comfortable" and that's when things go bad. You really cannot be too paranoid.

Anything that crosses state lines could warrant federal involvement. If I had ordered domestically, customs wouldn't have been involved. I'll never know what would have happened in that situation.

Who knows what other factors come into play that get eyeballs on you though. Hushmail? Not safe. Popular research supply companies? Not safe. LE has their hands in everything & it comes down to the luck of the draw - is joe blow going to be the example an agent decides to try to connect the dots on?

shoe, sorry to hear this.. but I do agree with loths the ammount of time they waste of some of the less petty crimes in the world, look at the drug cartel on the boarders of mexico, etc.. 8k+ dead in 2 months, yet they worry about some guy doing gear.

We got American citizens being kidnapped to the point where they're televising it telling Americans not to got to Cancun, Mexico. And on top of that we have had a serious problem on the border for god knows how long but yet we're still jerking off Iraqi's in Iraq.
1000's of ton's of cocaine and heroin coming in to our country. An unemployment rate which is just unexceptable.
Families loosing their homes with nowhere to live.
But yet these IDIOTS spend god knows how many tax dollars on trying to catch some guy buying something that isn't going to do anything to anyone but himself.
I'm sick of this place.
It's rediculous how this country has accomplished so little.
Oh, and lets not forget Bernie Maddof. Why this fuckers still alive I have no idea.
This country needs to get it's priorities in order.
 
A guy i work out with, his cousin sets up stings as the delivery guy. The second you're done signing your name the handcuffs go on. NEVER EVER SIGN FOR SHIT! And the deal is they dont know whats in the package. Could be anything and they do not care. All they see is another arrest for them. Sometimes its nothing and sometimes its like hitting the lotto for them....

actually HGH isn't controlled.. they almost gave the GH i had back to me, they're double checking on it now

its restricted (prescription required), but not a scheduled / controlled substance

it would most likely just be intercepted and taken away from you unless you were ordering some insane amount and had reason to believe you were profiting from it

still though, china is flagged up the ass w/ customs so be safe
 
Now im paranoid as f*ck....ordered from a domestic source about a week ago...not as serious as ordering powders from overseas but the last thing i want is the police knocking at my door

My neighbor down the road sells coke and has NEVER been busted, but a friend does aas and gets popped. WTF?
 
FYI when shipping anything.

1. Get one of those mailboxes that arnt on your property. Go to a mom and pop place they are pretty cheap and worth it. If shit hits the fan all they can do is seize it. You dont have to worry about a search because they dont have shit on and cant search your house when the stuff in question is found a some other residents.
 
thats what i did. got a box at a local mom and pop shop. had a growth order to pick up. picked it up, and as soon as i got to my car they arrested me.. it was during the day , while the place was open. they were waiting in the back room......
not good.

Dude, WOW, What was the charge? How long was the order in before you went and picked it up? What state? And anything else you can add would be helpful
 
I wonder if its illegal to order a smaller amount if you have a prescription for it. I'm just thinking out loud, but there are plenty of men past 30 that are legally entitled to have possession. I guess a 3 month supply of therapeutic test 250 would only be about 7.5grams of powder....versus 100g I can see why the feds would get fired up.

I'm surprised they would know to bust in with just one personal order...it seems a bit lucky.
 
Just chiming back in. I still lurk around here and there. Still on federal probation. Have a little over a year to go. This whole thing happened in 2007, I'll be off of probation in January 2012.

Probation isn't that bad, mostly a hassle. Filling out the same monthly report with the same information and having to ask for permission anytime I need to travel someplace. It gets old. Another shitty thing is, I have a federal felony on my record now. Those can't be expunged or reduced like state felonies. The only way to get rid of this thing is to get a presidential pardon. Like that will happen.

Thankfully, I'm self employed and have been for about 10 years now.

Just bumping this back to the top for anyone that is considering home brewing and all it entails. Learn from my mistake. Be safe. Feel free to ask me any questions if you're curious about anything, PM is fine if you don't want to ask publicly.
 
probation is a great deal....man, if you are ordering quantities that pass your own consumption, which I guess a 3 mo supply would be a few grams for a significant prescription, you're getting off easy. I read somewhere that the punishment for the chinese selling these things to the US is death, so probation is something they wish would be their end of the bargain. Its easy enough to get a real script, so why not cover your ass and do it the right way?

Yea, but even if you're importing a small amount (3 month supply) you're still importing and could get in trouble for it whether or not you have a prescription. We're "supposed" to go through the proper channels to get medications that are controlled.

If you ordered 3 months worth of anything from China, would you get in a lot of trouble? Not likely. They probably wouldn't even bother. But, legally, you could still get in trouble.

7.5 grams of powder = 7,500mg = 300 units according to federal guidelines. Base offense level of 8 which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 0-6 months. You'd most likely get probation for it, unless you have priors which would then put you in a different column of categorization that could give you more time.

The thing about federal charges, is that there isn't a lot of room for bargaining once you're indicted. The federal system goes by guidelines according to offense level (which is determined by quantity and type of drug) and judges have to follow these guidelines.

I have a script now, and get my TRT medications from Walgreens :)

This is part of the problem. There is a misunderstanding about state versus federal processes when it comes to drug charges and prosecution.

Here are two hypothetical examples:

State:

You're pulled over and busted with some gear. In court, you can argue that it is for personal use, even if you were caught with a large quantity. Experienced lawyers can argue about stacking, cycle length, etc. and you might be able to get off with a possession charge for personal use. It all depends on a local / district judge.

Federal:

You've ordered some gear from overseas, customs gets involved, the feds want to pin this on you. You are indicted and the quantity of the drug is listed on the indictment. You can have the best lawyers in the world, but it won't matter. Regardless of whether or not the gear was for personal use, there are guidelines for sentencing based on quantity.

* Don't forget that anything crossing state lines could warrant federal involvement. So theoretically, you don't eliminate the feds by ordering domestic, unless they are local.

That is the difference between state and federal charges. If it's a state charge, you can argue and convince a judge that 10 grams of testosterone was just a 20 week cycle (500mg week) and not have to worry about being charged with trafficking or anything like that.

The feds only see 10 grams of testosterone. Once the amount is on a grand jury indictment, it can't be changed and what it is used for doesn't matter. You will be busted for the amount of drugs involved, not the purpose of them. In this example, you're looking at whatever the charge would be for 400 units (.25mg = 1 unit), which is 0-6 months.

Important units of conversion to keep in mind:

1 unit = .25mg of powder
1 unit = .5cc of liquid
1 unit = 1 pill

All of the above are valid if there are detectable levels of the controlled substance, the concentration doesn't matter.


BTW, This post is just for informational purposes. I never cared to understand this stuff when I was using AAS until it was too late. I always just assumed it wasn't a big deal. I don't advise anyone to order or use AAS, but if you are going to, it is important that you are informed about the legal ramifications involved beforehand.
 
Just thinking outloud here...but....since obviously your not the luckiest guy in the world so here goes. Couldnt your P/O say your violating your probation by posting on here? ONce again please dont take the wrong way I am trying to look out for you. The arguement could be made that you are affilating yourself with known criminals and criminal activity? Just be careful bro.

ONe more thing... sucks when you get off probabtion and then 10 months later the world is going to end according to the Myan calender...lol (sorry had to put a joke in there)
