bro what is your opinoin of this food intake:
-first thing in the A.M ceral and protein drink
personally, I am not a fan of cereal. I would rather see you eating some boiled egg whites, cup of oatmeal, and half scoop of protein shake in water. you can buy boiled eggs already peeled in the grocery for something like $1.89 for 6
-after AM workout protein drink
2 protein drinks back to back isnt a great idea. how about BCAAs, glutamine before you even leave the gym and then something along the lines of chicken and rice.
-10am meal 5-6 eggs (a few yokes), two pieces toast or 1/3 rice, fruit
this is actually a great meal set up, just try to get the protein up to 40 grams here
-100pm lunch sandwich (lean meat whole wheat bread cheese), a carb serving of some sort (crackers, rice, noodles, etc),
salad
As long as you are using a quality meat for the sandwich, and not some sodium packed processed deli meat you are ok. Again, try to get between 30-40 grams of protein here. Also, look into using Eziekel bread for the sandwich too. Then you can eliminate the additional carb serving and stick with just a salad and olive oil (for healthy fats)
-400pm pre-dinner two cans of tuna, cup of oats (mixed with lowfat milk and a lil sugar)
Not really a big fan of complex carbs after 2PM. I would prefer you to stick with leafy greens for your carbs sources here. It is even ok to have a meal of just protein and healthy fats
-600pm dinner (varies from day to day, but usually healthy with a large portion of good meat, a carb, and a salad
This comes on the heels of the previous meal which was only 2 hours before. If you are getting hungry at this point it is ok, but don't try to force feed yourself. you can eat some red meat here, sirloin, 95% lean ground beef, etc.. try to have at least one serving of red meat per day
-900pm snack (either eating more of what is leftover from dinner, or a 52 gram protein drink).
Just keep the carbs out as much as you can. Actually if you were to take the protein powder and use it to make a protein pudding dessert instead of a drink it would be better and feel "heavier" in your stomach. One of the best desserts I have made was using Beverly UMP Vanilla flavor to make a pudding and adding unsalted cashews to it.
I'm trying to gain a few lbs, not worried about fat cause i just don't get fat...seems like i've bottomed out though at 200lbs.
am i not eating enough in your opinion?
