I wanted to do it along with my wife but she can't eat the type of foods that are required because of medical reasons plus she is a teacher and the last thing she needs to be is fuzzy while teaching

She has high triglycerides because of shitty genetics and can't eat the things necessary for this diet. I still might try it but right now I'm doing a diet and having good results.

Of course any fat fuckers like myself has to lose weight if they are trying but I think a lot of mine has been fluid loss and maybe 5 pounds of fat.:D

Damn, I hate getting old! Get the weight off before you turn 40 because after that, it's hell.:)

I forgot, are you doing a one day or 2 day or 36 hour re-feed. I'm curious to see how much weight you'll gain back. if it's 3 pounds I'd consider that a success.

I was thinking about doing a refeed starting this evening through tomorrow eveing, but to be honest, I'm not craving enough...and still have my sanity, so I plan on just doing a refeed tomorrow. I'm going to get up, have an apple, do my depletion workout, and then continue with my refeed. I'm really happy so far with how I feel (overall)...and still have a good attitude about the diet...those are two things I couldn't on too long whenever I did a Beverly diet. Also I'm not doing any cardio either.

My wife just commented last night that my stomach looked leaner.....that could be attributed to water, but at least it is noticeable.

See. This is where I went wrong as well. I knew about the pissing. But I thought it was Cheetosstix. So I pissed on a cheeto and all that happened was the cheeto got soggy and I got peeps on my hand and the toilet seat. Come to think of it, that's not unusual anyway.

Anywho.....the cheeto didn't turn purple and I ate 4 Hostess Cupcakes.

In any case, when the beastmeister told me he was doing this I thought I could never do it. Today is my 12th day. I started at 201 and today I weighed in at 188. Granted....mostly water, but that's okay for now. I've been under 20g of carbs every day so far. Once I got past the third day, I was good to go. My niece's birthday party with two types of cake was tough, but I made it through.

I did the first week as Atkins because I haven't been able to work upper body for sometime now. I'm just coming off prednisone for my shoulder injury and i'll be back in the gym next week. I'm planning on doing a refeed on Sunday and then go forward as CKD. My wife has lost almost 5 lbs already and only has 5 more to go.

I know this was asked earlier in the thread, but i'm not sure if it was answered. Is the depletion workout critical?
