You'll dig it after the first 2 wks. After that you'll be used to it.
You'll be in the zone by week 4 or 5. It's just too easy after that.
Next wk is week 11 for me. I'm about done.
As of now, I'm down 20 lbs and @ about 10-11%bf.
I didnt vary my pro/fat ratio's as much as Mr.X shows, but consistancy worked well for me. (50/50 to 40/60, pro/fat)
- eggs, bacon (or sausage)
- cheddar brauts (these were good, lotsa bad fat though)
- tuna, chicken, beef, fish (u know the protein drill!)
- Olive oil, canola, peanut mix oil. Or just olive oil is good, the mixed just happened to be on sale. only 1g sat fat.
(this is what will get fat intake up to where it has to be)
- hamburger patty w/cheese .....
- Ranch dressing goes with almost anything !
(make sure its full fat ranch though)
- pepperoni slices are good snacks.
- String cheese is your friend.
- WALNUTS rule! lots of fat, some protein and 3g carbs, but its all fiber.
- If you drink coffee, heavy whipping cream is like smack!
plenty of fat cals, and it makes coffee awsome.
- Diet DR. PEPPER is the only soft drink without hydrocitric / citric
acid. If you drink softdrinks, learn to like this.
(those acids kick you out of keto)
- Remember some people get kicked out by aspertame.....I do not
(thank God) .....so chk with ketostix til you know for sure.
