First of all, is it stupid to have my avi pic as my main profile pic for facebook? I know its conceited thats why I ask

Ok on to the good stuff. I'm gonna do a lot of appearance make over bullshit.

-Good colognes, nice watch
-Better style of dressing. Im kinda over L-R-G and plain white tee's, I wanna step my game up in this department. Maybe start wearing some vests, long sleeves, etc.
-What are some legit brands of clothing that appear nice? Keep in mind I can make a used walmart shirt look good, but Im talkin about some average priced stuff that look NICE
-Should I get teh jacket?

I know you guys are all older so ur more experienced in the style of clothing, i know CW and SB and pdaddy dress nice, post up fools
 
what about your savings account, paying off bills, and the new kid you're going to have? You have money to spare for a new wardrobe?
 
I dress mostly in jeans and random t-shirts. once in a while I'll dress nice like for a wedding or to a nice resturant. I also have a decent movado watch i bust out at those times. other than that I wear raggedy clothes to the gym. my sweats have holes in them as well as my t-shirts which also have stains and dried concrete/mortar from work. But I can bigger and stronger than about everybody at my gym so it don't matter.
 
I love armani exchange, decent prices for a designer look. Just stay away from the large print logo guido shirts and you'll be gtg. Banana Republic always has a nice selection especially stuff marked down in the back of the store(this goes for most mid level designer retailers). Guess is another good one, especially if you can find an outlet store. Diesel and burberry are also good for the price. What I do is belong to Shop it to me.com, you put in what your style preference is and brands you like and everyday they send you an email with great bargain designer merchandise that match. They have great customer service and delivery time rocks.

I like their style but the few dress shirts I have purchased from them has had faulty stitching. It was so bad in fact that it has made me dry clean all of my higher end clothing out of fear of the same thing happening.

I really like the cut of their t-shirts on an athletic body type. They enhance the way a guy with a larger upper body looks, snug is all the right places, I guess.

Oh, you are talking tshirts. I have never purchased a tshirt from them but I may have to look into it. I have a tough time finding shirts that fit my arms and accent my small waist.
 
gladiator, from the last 6 months or so i been reading in this forum, you are the most entertaining person here with all your predicaments and random ideas. just buy everything. i got every style of clothing that fits a white kid that i could find. i filled up every closet in my whole house with my clothes, shoes, belts, hats, fucking everything. that way i can be whatever i got to be that day. got all the big colognes, envy, euphoria, intense euphoria, aqua de gio, paris, some paco robane thing, lacoste and like 5 others. and this killer watch with like 70 quartz in it. it shines like a disco ball in the light and it was only a few hundred bucks, fuck diamonds. but..... i have a gf for like 3 year now and she cramps my style. like ceo i live in board shorts. i got about 30 pairs in most colors known to man. and even tho i live in canada i wear them every day of the year. like right now i am. i work in coveralls with my shorts underneath everyday, with no shirt, a t-shirt, my gf has refused to go out with me once to this really ritzy restaurant cuz i wore this nice armani black button up shirt she got for me in new york city with board shorts. lol you know what. your style should be board shorts and button ups. business on top, party down low.. like a reverse mullet or something. u should grow that too
 
i use board shorts for my pjs too. literally 24/7 i wear them. cept for my nudee time. which is usually reserved for showers and being too drunk in the bar

Personally, I think guys are hottest in well fitting jeans and a well fitting tshirt, but if you're trying to look a little nicer, try a button down with the sleeves rolled up. Oh, and nothings worse than when a guy looks nice and I look down and his shoes are jacked.

And lol @ Hurricane mentioning Hollister & Abercrombie. Hollister is meant for 14-18yo and A&F for 18-22yo. They're 22-35yo brand, Reuhl, closed last year so don't bother. Regardless, I really dislike any of these brands on guys. Don't do it.

How tight is too tight for a t-shirt? I have a big upper body and a small waist so shirts never fit me right. My arms are always too tight or it seems like it, and the shirts never are long enough unles you go up in size and then the arms dont fit as well

I'm def gonna check some of these places out that you guys have all said. I wanna be a pimp daddy not a thug daddy lol
 
I'm not a guy so I don't know about who sells well fitting clothes for guys like you but I've seen guys look in shirts from Express and AX. Hit up your local Nordstrom. Youll find something.

Asking people is kind of a waste bc how it fits someone else isn't how it'll fit you or maybe it will but that's not how you like it to fit. Finding things that fit is all trial and error. Just don't discard a store bc of the way one item fits though.

Buckle Clothes are very stylish and fairly priced. You can get a lot of diffrent looks out of that one store. I can't wear Hollister, AE, or many other of the popular mall brands, cause the shit is made for tall skinny fucks. I love BKE Jeans for the money they are the best I have worn in awhile, stylish and big enough in the legs. I mostly wear designer jeans and a button down shirt out these days, thats a pretty popular look, especially for a dude with a good build like you, it's not over the top dressy, but not a tshirt either. I like Tom Ford Khakis, them bithces are sweet, but rather pricey. Cologne is a matter of taste, I love the 1 million, and Gucci, I also have several diffrent RL Polo brands and a couple of diffrent Armani's. Some cool in style jeans a slick pair of shoes and a nice button down go along way bro, don't forget your watch and spend the money on a nice belt to complete that shit bro. Get you a pair of Coasta's and you're ready to roll. I also have apair of 34x32 Buffalo Jeans I will send you to start your transformation. bitches are like skinny jeans on my legs. :)

When was the last time you stepped outside your house? I'm 22, pretty much the same age as Glad & I've seen plenty of guys our age in button down shirts and look good in them...but besides, my post actually said I prefer guys in well fitting tees.

He said he wants to look nicer, that doesn't mean dressing down like the average zit-faced Podunk High School for the Performing Arts student in A&F.

And it's from a piece by Salvador Dali called Female Figure with Head of Flowers. He painted her to represent his dislike for the ignorance of the upper class that surrounded him...you know, people like yourself.

I thought about changing up my wardrobe last year. I was playing in a band and my bandmates thought my dress was too plain to be doing gigs as a lead guitarist. I went into one of those trendy Ed Hardy/Affliction places and tried on some of their shit. Goddamn I looked like a fucking queer. The shirts cut the circulation off in my arms. At our next practice session, they asked me if I got some new digs. I told them to fuck off, I'm wearing swastika shirts to gigs now for them making me try on that shit.

They do make medium and large and xlarge, you don't have to get a small. We know size small makes you feel better about how fucking huge you are, but for fashions sake, get a medium big guy.:)
