Someone please explain how Zimmerman can be tried by the Fed?

I wish there was someway they could have compelled Zimmerman to take a lie detector test or recount the events under the influence of sodium pentathol. If he just followed the kid he should be allowed to do it. Whether he profiled him or not is irrelevant. What he's not allowed to do is to stop someone and ask them their business. Police and police only are allowed to do that. If Trayvon flew off the handle just cause someone was following him, than Zimmerman was justified in using his weapon. If Zimmerman in any way shape or form verbally confronted Trayvon he should have lost his SYG rights. And I hope that's what comes of this, that they modify SYG rules. If you instigate an altercation than you should lose your SYG umbrella. Then you gotta man up and fight and take your assbeating if it comes.

Also these neighborhood watchmen should be required to open carry if they insist on being armed. If trayvon had seen the gun he probably would still be alive.

Juries just need to start nullifying SYG all together IMHO. If Rick Scott ( or other governors ) wont work to mak sensensible adjustments then the jury can ignore this law if they choose, and send the perp to jail
