Flax Seed Oil - Capsule form

I've recently bought some Flax seed oil in capsule form, they're 1000mg each, how many should I be taking per day? Any ideas?

well, 1000mg = 1g, and 1 tablespoon of oil is 10g fat.

So, when you hear people talking about 1 tbsp of flaxseed oil, they're talking about 10g, or 10 of your capsules (I think). I haven't used it, but I'd be interested it starting.

For those of you that don't take it in capsule form, where do you get it and how much does it cost?

10 capsules, aye currumba! It says on the container to take no more than 2 a day, I thought it may be beneficial to take more than two, but not 10!! I think I'll buy it in liquid form next time too. I got the capsules from Holland & Barrett, and apparently they generally have it in liquid form, just not when I wanted it, so give your local H&B a try, if not, I would guess you could get your local Health Food shop to get it in for you? Worth a try.

try the liquid too .... caps are good when eating out
