i have gas heating and i have decided to be cheap i am buying electric heater units for my place

I have solar panels on my garage to heat the garage and my basement. Electric heat in the garage and basement and oil heat for the rest of my shack.

Fucking A. You can always dress up but you can't dress down in the summer. They rip us off by raising the rates in the summer months here in Texas. Legal crime pays good.

(1) insulate every part of the house you can. amazing how many people have houses that leak heat

(2) get a controlled thermostat. at work: it's off at home: it warms up

(3) get a fireplace. fire is cheap.

(4) nat gas prices are gonna rise 50% by next year. use electric to heat your home. way cheaper in the long run.
