When to take creatine??

I just started to take creatine monohydrate. Some ppl say to take it preworkout and some post workout. Which is it? Everything I've read says it hasn't been proven either way, so this is a question of whose experienced it.
Also any other advice for hardgainers let me know. IM 6"2" 182 was 170 last week but I have UP my caloric intake to about a 4,000 cal. All my body can pack right now, and its really helped tremendous, Added a little fat but have to i beleive to shock it into growth. Im having a little trouble still getting fast recovery thats why i think the creatine monohydrate will come in place there. Any suggestions?

Creatine is best when taken immediately following your workout when your muscles are most engorged with blood. It of course should be a good brand with a carbohydrate to help push it into the muscle tissue!!
 
after the workout and remember to load for the first 5-7 days, suppl. forum would prolly be able to help out much more
