Installing carpet:
First you nail carpet tack strips into concrete foundation while crawling around on hands and knees on raw concrete in unairconditioned building.
I lasted one day. The next day I just lay in bed and ached.

"Thank you mr. next day carpet installer...because when we're jonesing for carpet, we're jonesing for it right now..."

Cleaning a bar's grease trap with a little bucket, for the first time in its history. They had to give me a mask after a little while, the stench was horrible.

The second worst was painting.... I was on the tip-top of an old wooden ladder 3 stories up, no safety at all. every time i moved a finger the thing would sway a couple of feet. I quit the next day, the boss called me back for a week after, i guess because he didn't want to be the one up there.

working in a box factory,I had to bend 1/4 inch cardboard into shapes,hold it,hot glue it,by noon my fingers were raw,I lasted about a week,my dad reemed me out for it since he got me the job,but it sucked ass,no a/c I had to stand because the owner thought that a stool would slow my productivity

I worked in a paper mill for 8 months when I was 19. Since I was the "junior man" I always got the fun job of crawling down into those hot ass pits & cleaning out all the crap underneath those giant paper rollers. Talk about fun!! That was some nasty shit. Had to rotate shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd) each week too. Couldn't handle all that at that age back then. It was also the first place where I smoked weed at work. Gee....I wonder why??? heheh....

ShopRite Overnight Shift, stocking shelves. I lasted 12 minutes.

That is not a typo.

12 minutes. I said, "Fuck this shit." to the manager. And walked out. I am not stocking shelves with a chain gang of ashcan dirtbags.

Pay was shit too.
