Whatever it is, i need it! I cannot seem to fall into a deep sleep at night. So my body just is not rested, and in the daytime i have no energy. I need help. My life is in jeopardy. How can i hold down a job in the day if i am not rested and tired? What do you bros reccommend. One thing or a combination of other stuff is fine. Please help!

Why not talk to a doctor? If you can't sleep they can hook you up with a prescription that will help you out.

Have you given melatonin or 5-htp a try? They both work well for me. It usually takes me around an hour of tossing and turning before I fall asleep without one of these. If you wanna go the prescription route Ambien is a very effective sleep medication. Ask your doctor about it.

You should first try OTC drugs.
Try 5-10 grams of inositol + 50 mg 5-HTP + 3 mg time released melatonin.
It's almost guaranteed to knock you out..
It's natural and it doesn't have any sides...

Yeah, I've been using melatonin for years, but if I take it too often, my skin tends to break out (on the face). It does work though. Give it a try, it's only $3 per 50 tablette bottle in any drug store.

I have the same problem. Some days are worse than others. Some guys swear by using the OTC stuff but I've tried it all and none of it worked.

I finally went to the doc and got a script for xanax. I've also used ambian. Xanax will knock you out for 10 hours or more. The only problem is you might feel really groggy for the rest of the day after waking up.

Actually, ambien in a 5mg or 10mg dose is only supposed to be effective for around 6 hours. After you take it, you better be ready to go to sleep, because you are going to, no matter what. There is no use fighting it. Elavil in a 50mg tablet is often perscribed to keep you asleep. Elavil, or it's generic form Amitriptyline, will not put you to sleep the way Ambien will. They work great together, or seperately. Ambien in a 5mg dose works great for me, as I suffer the same as you with sleep disorders. If I take it by itself, I will wake in roughly 6hrs, but will be able to go back to sleep. Now if I take the elavil with it, I will definately have the sleeping pill hangover and get at least 8-10 hrs of good quality sleep.

Juiceseeker, try these tips"

1. Sleep in a pitch dark room... no light from outside street lamps or glow of clocks or radios in room. Some people become VERY light sensitive and cannot produce melatonin in response to darkness if there is ANY light in the room they sleep in. This is the #1 cause of severe insomnia.

2. Avoid caffeine and diet sweeteners completely. Aspartame is a glycine molecule and a phenylalanine molecule bound together. Phenylalanine creates nor-epinephrine (Sp?) the brains wake up chemical. Having caffeine or aspartame are the #2 causes of chronic insomnia.

3. Take melatonin. You may not be producing it well.
