Joe , I'm not asking someone to compliment on steroid use.. I´m just saying that people are never happy for others,, or have a hard time being happy. It´s like with girls, other girls to them are either too skinny or too fat, never look good, it´s a defense mechanism really to never acknowledege others.

You know the feeling? You work your ass off. You go to the gym everyday, you skip parties, you go when you don't feel like it , because you know that you gotta keep pushing on. Then you come home and the only thing that you get from your out of shape family/girlfriend (or whatever) is "why do you have to train so much, you´re obsessed with gym, all you do". Me, I never get compliments and if I get some results it's usually "you're on steroids you loser" or "you're too big". What is it with people, their inability to be happy for others? I´m not saying I live for compliments it just would be great if someone actually acknowledged what you're doing. Do you get that a lot? You eat superclean, you train like a beast and no one ever sees the potential or compliments you? Just because they don't have the passion the deem it obsessive. I don't judge them for doing whatever they enjoy the most! Kinda pissed here.

I have had that my whole life but honestly I feed off others negativity,,,it pushes me to strive harder and harder.

I started bodybuilding at a time when doctors where stating that AAS could not increase muscle mass. Haters called bodybuilders gay. Arnold was just arriving on scene Venice Beach. In the 1980's, housewives started putting his poster on their refridgerators. 2 Ciba dbols (10 mg) a day was common and considered resonable dose.

Bodybuilding is a sport, a hobby and a lifestyle. I am into it as a hobby and a lifstyle so massive amounts of AAS and other perfromance enhancing drugs are simply not part of my life. You can take bodybuilding too far. I bodybuild to improve my life. It is not my life. If it becomes an obsession or a burden, then you might need to re-balance you life. I agree 100% with Nelson, it should not be a burden.

People are often jealous and too lazy to make a change for the better so instead, they try to bring those down around them so they feel better about their loser selves. Take their negative energy and accept it as a gift that you can use to your advantage in the gym.

alin states it very well:

Happy New Year to All!

i wasnt solely talking about steroid use. its all of it. most of us here have an unhealthy hobby. im not downing it myself im just looking at it from another point of view. a constant strive to be bigger and or stronger is taxing on your body. it gets a lot of negative review because of that.

i got compliments alot at first when my gains first came but now, nothing. Except being asked if I take roids lol. But now, no I dont really get compliments unless its from someone who I havnt seen in a long time.

I think its because most normal people dont realise how hard it is to change your body...

lol most people just think "why do you need to get bigger youre already big". Well it just comes down to personal opinion, there is no right and wrong. I want to be bigger because I feel like an alpha male that way. Most people would say thats an insecurity but shit tell a woman to walk around with no make up on for a week, they wouldnt because they wouldnt like the way they look.

The people who accept it are the good ones, as with anything in life. The people who hate just have problems of their own. I DO believe you can take bodybuilding too far, as in 25 supps a day. I take gear because I see it as a supplement not a drug.

When they ask why I need to get bigger and say I'm already big, I just ask back "why do you keep eating whoppers, you're already fat enough.

Gear is a true supp. 3/4 of the shite on the shelf at those stores or online is just hype and snake oil. Gear does exaclty as advertised. All of the haters I know spend a ton in those stores in the hopes they get the result advertised. If they sold gear in the stores you know damn well they'd be the first in line, bills in hand. Funny how for a short time in U.S. history, if you were drinking a beer, you were breaking the law. Put that in your stigma pipe and smoke it!

hahahah, I love that sentence... "why do you keep eating whoppers, you're already fat enough."... I´m going to use it next time
