Not a damn thing. As a matter of fact, the BTS moderator doesn't want them either. That should tell you something.

As people who work out and have different diets than everyone else our bowel movements are a valid topic of discussion.

Nice try. I don't think that was what the guy who ended his with "Enjoy your lunch" had in mind. If the training or diet mods are willing to put up with them, post 'em there. But ask first.

And ended. It was a year old with no activity and it gets bumped? That one wasn't about content -- it was about a few posters (you know who you are) dragging up threads so old they had mold on them, with no explanation.

I look at it like this for the chat board

1) If a thread is blatantly sexual it's going to the BTS board.

2) If a post has offensive pictures in it, it will be editted.

3) If a thread is racist or hurtful to a group of people it is gone.

4) Any posts that attack people personally will be checked out, and if the person attacked has a problem with the post it will be editted. People can joke around with their friends and that is fine, but don't go after someone who might not know that you're joking.

As for the poop threads, I look at them as mostly juvenile behavior and leave them alone, as long as they don't get too grafic, then they get deleted or locked.

let me see if I can explain a little something here..... I was told this once by a wise businessman.

Basically, the Fitness boards to make good old GS a pretty penny, but nothing close to what they make him in advertising, ebooks, consultations, and other wares.

So many people are searching around and find this web site, not for the forums, but for the other things.. steroid secrets... bodybuilding truth.. etc..

They will order up a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff... get it, realize they paid way too much for the same stuff you can get for free nearly anywhere (or at most $5 in a bodybuilding magazine)... and get pissed off.

They come to the forums, to look around, maybe find other opinions, and they see some threads that are talking about anti semitism, gays, people dying of AIDS, shitting everywhere, rape, homos, mastubation, anal sex, you know..all the things the wackos on this board love... well they see that shit, and they immediate call their credit card company and refuse charges for all the overpriced information they've purchased. This costs GS money. The boards are here to drum up business, not shun it away.

Also, do you reall think the sponsors here, like Anabolic Fitness, want to be associated with racism, shit, etc?

As for bumping year old dead threads, why make them available then? Archive them for searches and lock them after a certain age. Solved.
