I see this whole deal as being similar to this-- it would be like if I went to a bar every day. And I hated it. I didn't like the management, the service, the music, or anything else. But I went there every day and just bitched about how much I didn't like it. In that sort of situation I fail to see what would draw me back there over and over again.

As for threads being moved or locked I think that's valid. Everyone here signed terms of service when they joined-- whether they've read it all or not is up to them but doesn't mean they can hop on here and post whatever. The aim of mods and admin isn't to target people and piss them off, it's to make the boards a more appealing place for current and new members. And a lot of the threads that disappear are less than charming.

You do understand that the mods are unpaid volunteers, but admins work here; right?

You pick on another customer, we may clear a ring for you to duke it out, or we may just break a virtual chair over your head; it depends on a lot of things. But that does exactly nothing to you, right? It's just another internet chat board, after all.

I'd say I've got things in perspective.
