I didnt go that route, that induces a high risk of infection
I know this because a few local vets have done some fucking up with those corticosteroid site injections
Acutually they were distinguished vets woring on horse tendons But the Principal is there and i have seen it Fuck up one too many times
on the other hand there is a counter argument that 'bleeding' a tendon will induce faster recovery and immediate cell regeneration - this goes back centuries ago
SLAT- yeah, Thanks big dog, always good advice from you
If youre going to do it, do it right... corticos will eat your muscles? i have been doing legs and midsection, should I stop???
Corticosteroids (like cortizone injections) inhibit inflammation. They also significantly impare the immune system, cause bloating and often times increased hunger.
There are times when they are required, but tendon and ligament damage for someone who is concerned with longevity is not one of those times.
