yesterday I took a pregnancy test

and it was positive.

I took another and it was also positive.

I have not told anyone other than Johnny, its way too early, I could still easily lose it

Its hard to believe. I keep wanting to take another one because I cant believe it, I need to take another one to be sure

lol I know, I know. I was pregnant and didnt even know it.

I gotta get past a couple weeks and make sure I dont have one of those chemical pregnancies or whatever

I go back and forth

and we hadnt been trying but we were not doing anything to prevent it

I was determined that I couldnt have kids

I was more happy and more excited than I thought I would be seeing a postive result.

I am going to hold off on buying books or making a doctor's appointment. One more week.

she does not know yet, but she is already giving me the silent treatment for not acting appropriately when she got pregnant - which was a congrats text. I'm not sure what she wanted me to do

How far along do you figure you are? Try not to worry, that won't help you at all!

Do you have any significant medical history that made you think you couldn't conceive? You don't have to get specific, I was just wondering if you had a valid reason for thinking this. My wife is a big time worrier and she worried through much of her pregnancy. Of course she had a previous miscarriage a year earlier, then 6 months later had issues with ovarian cysts (went to ER when one ruptured). But, 5 months after that ER visit we were pregnant, and 9 months later we had a beautiful baby boy. :)

We didn't tell anyone until we were through the first trimester. But my wife is so tiny she started showing a couple weeks before that so some people guessed.

So...congratulations! And, don't worry. :)
 
Wow Congrats Cindy, that is awesome.

You really should not stress and dwell on the potential for miscarriage as all that negative energy is not good for you nor that precious little baby you got in you. Just relax and be thankful, and take good care of you. Make that Dr appt so as though you can see how far along you are and also so as though you can have proper treatments during the pregnancy.

Best of luck to you, enjoy it as the time flies right by!

The good prenatal vits are worth taking. As for eating.. it depends a lot on you. Way to many women see being preggers as an excuse to eat like crap and it shows! NO Alcohol, we have friends who adopted an infant with fetal alcohol syndrome and it has been challenging to put it mildly.
 
Well I started taking some prenatal vitamins yesterday, I'm having some preoblems but I'll spare a men's board all the details - lol

pretty scary. This is my first pregnancy so I dont know whats normal and whats not, but I dont feel normal and my doc appointment is not until next week

i called a nurse yesterday and they made me come in and they took some blood but didnt tell me anything.

i dont know if my anxiety is blowing up full force or if I have a real reason to be worried! lol I just dont know

She said that I could have Rh blood incompatibility with Johnny or that I have a hormonal imbalance but that they wouldnt know until they took my blood. Both are fixable but I wish they'd just call me and let me know.

I am having early miscarriage symptoms basically, though sometimes it can be totally normal, im freaking out

All my girlfriends tell me its normal and to take some tylenol but my intuition (or anxiety) tells me different
 
Cindy, You gotta stop stressing out over it (I know easiar said, than done). Stressing out isn't going to help matters along.

I'm hoping the best for you.

my biggest problem is the internet. I look up my symptoms or whatever and the worst case senario is always presented first of course...and then you read all of the other stories of all the other women..........

I'm going to try and not to worry whatever happends happens


P.S. I will never be pro-choice ever again!

No vaid medical history besides anxiety really and negative thinking lol, plus a tipped uterus (tmi? sorry! haha)

Im figuring I'm about 5-6 weeks, mabye 4? I took the test last week but I wasnt late, I just felt "something cooking in there" lol!

They called and everything is normal, I'm pregnant and hormones look fine. Of course I have to go back tomorrow to see if they've gone up. I'm worrying for no reason! Just like you guys said! I still dont get to have sex yet though. lol

I need ways to relax that do not involve alcohol or hot baths....and sex

Oh I did say that, lol thats not what I meant though, I was just talking about me, and how unique and special special this one particular pregnancy seems to me and I know if I lose it I can have another kid again someday but I want THIS ONE and it has changed my personal views on abortion.

I shouldnt have said I woudlnt be pro-choice because thats not what I meant, lol I'm honestly not thinking straight right now

I should have said I wouldnt have an abortion, as where I previously thought I would if the circumstances warranted

my mistake - i WOULDNT want any woman to go through this if she didnt want it of course

And, I'm guessing the doctor told you that was nothing to worry about, right? It usually corrects on it's own during the pregnancy.

Do you have any symptoms of the retroversion? I assume it's congenital?

No, no one has told me any of that...I have no idea what the symptoms are of retroversion...Ive never even heard of symptoms that it might have caused..no one has told me anything about that. And yeah, I was born with it.

You know alot!

So it corrects itself? Thats cool. I wonder if it goes back or not

Actually if its a boy Johnny is naming him, if its a girl I pick the name


He wants to name him Jackson Joe. I'm not a fan of that but he gets to pick I guess......

I'm hoping he will change his mind. lol

If its a girl I'm naming her Abigail Ann , but I'll call her Abby

I could always change my mind.....

Jackson Joe ain't bad so when he is growing up he can chose if he wishes to be called Jack or Joe - Congratulations.

Yeah, Johnny wants a boy for sure, and wants him to be an athlete already. Already. Sigh. lol He wants to repaint the room (which is already pink ) green with white stripes every foot which would represent a football field. OMG :worried:
