M.O.D., My gh is not characteristic of the counterfeit on the Serono statement, but I don't think that necessarily means that it is legit. I am hoping that the preg test will let me know.

Sorry, been out of town.....Moose, the lack of a hologram doesn't make it fake. Serono didn't start with the holograms until after the first counterfeit was discovered a little over a year ago. Batches prior to that date are still around and still under the expire date. Just call the company, they will tell you.

this is a good example that you just need to invest in another brand of gh, and you wont have to confront these counterfeit issues like you do with the serostim!

All the major manufacturers have experienced problems with fakes over the years.....Serono is the only one that actually has been upfront about it. Of course they had no choice, because the counterfeits were distributed to pharmacies, and not through the black maket.

well a pro source informed me that serono was to blame for the fakes, they are the ones who put the fakes on the market, it was said to be that one of their labs were shut down also, we as public will never know the truth and Im not saying my friend is right, but it has to be somebody on the inside that has put the fakes out!

I remember kicking this around with you way back, CN1. You were correct then, and I always thought it had to be an inside job for Serono kits to actually make it into the pharm distribution system....yep, we probably will never know the truth.

Well I took the test, and I'm not pregnant! I am just going to assume that all my kits are legit, and stop worrying about it. Ironmaster, I feel better knowing that the holograms were only put on after the whole counterfeit issue. Thanks for all your replies.
