Seperating cardio on lift days?

I have always done any cardio(usually not much anyways) on an off day. But now I'm doing 1 hr of cardio 5 days a week. I can go to the gym either morning or afternoon or both. On lift days how long would be enough time between the two to avoid too much CNS overload. I'm not running just doing fast walking at around an 8 degree incline.
