Hey! :wavey:

Had a busy day yesterday. Had court to get my delinquent daughter OFF probation. She was released, but unsatisfactorily, so she has to wait a year before she can get her record exponged and when she goes to do it, it'll probably cost her more. GOOD! She needs to go thru some red tape to see how it tastes!!!! Anyway, just found out a couple of days ago that she's pregnant too!!! Thank GOD she's 18 and out on her own now (with the bf :rolleyes: ). Enough about that.....

So after that I did a little running around, went to the gym, went home and cleaned and rearranged some things since all her stuff is out now and then just chilled on the couch watchin' TV. Still can't update the log right now...but I will this afternoon. :)
 
Thanks for the thoughts, guys. The first night I was dealing with all the kid stuff it was kind of hard. My daughter has never "turned" on me before. When I confronted her about the pregnancy, she did just that - like it was MY problem or something. You know, thinking about her and my ex-whatever you want to call him (we still talk), they're a lot alike. They never want to take responsibility for making things happen the way they do. I just want to shake them sometimes and say "Damnit! Snap out of it and STOP trying to find someone other than yourself to blame!!!!!!!

.....I figured out how to do that LOOOONNNGGGGG ago. It's therapeutic to accept your mistakes, face the consequence and move on instead of trying to shove it all on someone else.

So anyway....right now I'm being blamed for making my daughter feel unwanted and she thinks ...... (and these are her exact words) "you act like I ruined your entire life by having me". I admit, I'm NOT maternal. I don't really like having kids around that much because they make me irritated (sorry, I'm a nonconformist and always have been). Not all kids make me feel this way, and my daughter never did either. I always told her how beautiful and smart she was (she's got a 3.95 GPA in pre-med right now) and that she could do ANYTHING she wanted to.

.....oh shit....I'm rambling again......


On a different note. I obviously didn't update the log yesterday. I ended up going around the house with spackle and filling in holes left by the previous owner. I moved a couple of mirrors around that she had left also. Got out the sandblock and paint and started with that too. I'm still not done, but I like doing that kind of stuff, so it's not a "chore" to me.

I needed a SERIOUS refuel yesterday for some reason. So last night I ordered a pizza (medium Supreme) - I ate 3/4 of it last night and the last 2 pieces for breakfast this morning!!!!!! Damn, I'm a PIG! ha ha ha It hit the spot and I feel MUCH better now! :lmao: Mom's coming into town tonight and we might go out for a bite....I'll try not to get too out of control with that meal.

So, I just at the last 2 pieces of pizza, took my EC (starting to hit me) and I'm going to head up to the studio and tan before anyone gets there so I don't get bothered by people wanting to talk to me - yah, that may sound shitty, but I REALLY need alone time at least ONE day out of the week! After that, I'll hit the gym.....LEG DAY (one excuse for getting to have a WHOLE PIZZA!!! lol) and then I'll be back here to catch up on all of your logs.

Sometimes a gals gotta do what a gals gotta do .. and PIZZA is a good thing to take it out on ... Looking as good as you do, you can afford to throw some crap in the tank, albeit, well-deserved & well-needed crap ... I'm sure you're body will rip right through it, and you're workout will be great !

...and I think I need to make the walking lunges a STAPLE on leg day! My ass started to hurt LAST NIGHT which tells me I'm going to be hobbling and groaning from pain tomorrow. YAY!!!! I'm HIKIN' the ass UP!!!!! lol

Actually, yes, things ARE going better! Got a call from the daughter last night and her "attitude" seems to have left the building! That's a GREAT start!

I always want to get on my computer at night because I miss sooooo much good stuff around here, but damn, it's really hard for me to get up in the morning and if I stay up past 10:30 or so, I'm a zombie - hence - I HAVEN'T BEEN GETTING UP TO DO MY AM CARDIO! :( :( :(

I wish I had more time to be a blob of nothing!!! lol Every night it's the same thing: gym, take care of animals, protein shake, house stuff, eat, watch a little tv, eat, bed. Sigh.......I WANT MORE TIME :bawling:

....and I don't even have to ASK how YOU'RE doing today. Your transformation is ROCKIN'! I better get my ass in gear if I have to stand next to you in a couple of months!!!! lol

Yep, had a good day off. Took the dogs to the vet for they're yearly updates, did some laundry & house work....a little cooking. It was a gorgeous day yesterday!

Training and diet are on target. Still haven't been able to get up in the AM for cardio. I'm working on it! I was reading what Mermaid said about forming habbits and how to apply it to getting out of bed in the morning - and I'm implementing it for myself. I HATE getting out of bed. My mom use to have to come in and tell me to get up 3 and 4 times. When I didn't listen, she would then rip back the covers and yell....RISE ANNNNNDDDD SHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr

Ohhhh, I WANT FBC's PB Cookies!!!!!!!! :chomp: They actually look pretty clean! :p

Hey, I got a question......does it hurt when you have your mid-thigh skinfold done? I have thick skin and it makes me wince. There's no fat under there, and I get a reading of 14 at that site where my other sites are 7.

I don't think I'm getting an accurate reading there. Where should I test INSTEAD of mid-thigh?

I saw that recipe...looks yummy!

About those cookies and portion control. I don't bake them all at once. Bake 3 and freeze the rest. That way, you aren't as tempted to go nuts on them.

So cake huh??? Im a sucker for cake my self... BUT instead of just buying an already made one (and I cant wait till I have a cheat day :) ).. i will get those cake mixes.. instead of regular eggs... use only one egg and the rest egg whites and instead of oil..substitute ff yogurt( i like danon-light and fit white chocolate rasp.) OR can substitute apple sauce. I would also split the whole mix and ingretients in half... so less to eat :)


I want some cake now.. but only a mouth ful :p

SG, if it makes you feel any better, I have a major problem with my mid thigh measurement too but I was told there is no substitute. My mid thigh measurement ranges from 19 to 22 although all my other 4 site measurements are single digit. I really don't think I am that disproportionate, but it definitely makes my overall bf% reading on the higher side. Let me know if you find a solution.

I think I'll be fine on the calories after I get them figured up. Maybe a little low Thursday, but one day won't hurt. I'm having an Italian Sub for lunch today, so that'll make up for it! ha ha

It was REALLY hard to drag my butt out of bed this morning harder than normal, and that ain't pretty. I need to take his toys away at bedtime I think. He gets all jacked up on catnip and I can't get him to stop being a crazyman.

My very first cat (when I was a baby 1 1/2 - 2 yo AND I even remember her) was Siamese. I've had many over the years - loved 'em all! :heart:
 
Forgive me for not being a cat person. I just have to say that's a beautiful Siamese cat. My mom had Siamese cats while I was growing up. :qt:
