Thanks so much for all the well-wishes, ladies!!

It's hard to go from the level of actvity I was at to having to now just focus on getting better. But I'm trying to make the best of it. I have to call the doctor again to see if there is anything he can do about the bloating and lack of appetite. I think it's a side-effect of the meds. But I almost feel like there is an alien life form growing inside me at this point

I can't wait to get better and be back to logging here!!

Turns out I am not home free yet. I got a call from the doctor's office and my blood work showed that I am/was really sick. The doctor wants to make sure I don't have more than a kidney infection like a kidney blockage etc.

So now I have to get a kidney ultrasound done this week. The soonest I could get one scheduled is for this Friday. I'll admit I'm a little scared. Some of the reasons I'm googling for kidney blockage include eating a diet high in protein and low in fibre.....ARGH!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best!
