credit is something lenders will give you if you can prove you don't need it.

Dont view a cc as "extra money", only use it for things you buy anyway like food/gas like youre doing.

They can be handy IF you can keep yourself disciplined and IF you get paid less than weekly. I get paid twice a month (on the 8th and the 23rd, which is like the weirdest pay schedule I've ever heard of), we couldn't keep gas in the car if it weren't for credit cards, but we keep the balance paid off .... except for a couple super low interest rate ones that are carrying very big balances that I'm basically treating as three to five year loans.

its kind of like a way to pay for gas when i have to wait a couple days for my check to come in...but I need to stop sepnding it all the way to my limit thats my problem

yep, that's how I roll now that I no longer spend my income on drugs and using my cc's for everything else. CC's suck, but good to have a couple for credit and emergency.

if you have to use a cc to put gas in your car because there are a few days left before you get paid you're doing something wrong.

You need to look at what and where your money is going and adjust it.

I don't even have any for an emergency. Really if you're doing things right you should atleast have a few months salary squirrled away for said emergency.

no, I haven't seen your debt...but I bet you if you wrote down every dollar you spent in a month I could find a ton of stupid shit you're wasting money on that could get you out of debt faster.
