quads/hams --> separate workouts! yes/no?

he told me to do leg press and np for other excercices.
but i know deadlifts hit quite well lower back!
hypers? hyperextension u mean? if so yes, np to do that!

I think it needs to be made clear, that you are expressing an opinion about Squats being the best Hammy lift. Given your obvious influence here, you wouldn't want people taking a statement such as that as scripture, would you?

Anyhow, in my opinion, SLDLs are the best Hammy lift. If you really want to bring out both muscles, you should devote an individual day towards each. I USED to do it this way, but now am not concerned as much about having tree-trunk thighs, so I do indeed train all in one routine. It's all about what you want bro.

If you are going to be doing 10-12 sets for Quads and Hams alike, then obviously you want to split them. Train Calves on Hammy day.
