Please Guys I Need Help With Shin Splints Karma For The Best Help

Get the best RUNNING shoes you can find, the horse stuff is DMSO and it works but you won't want to be using it forever. The stretching/flexibility will help relieve the symptoms most people call shin splints. And balancing the muscle development.

If you are indeed suffering micro fractures you need to get more help than a msg board.

In the Military I used to get them real bad, and all those fuckin military Drs' would do is give me a prescription for 800mg Ibuprofren pills and tell me to not be on my feet at all for 4-5 days.

My doc told me that real shin splints are actually microfractures of the bone(s) and a much more serious problem than the more common muscular disbalance between the tibialis anterior and the gastrocnemis, which is a separate problem. It's been a while, though, and I might not be remembering things perfectly.

It's possible, although I never was told that by any physcian (microfractures), but this was 20 years ago! I am sure the diagnosis may be more complete now.

The real pain is plantar fasciitis. I have had that on and off for decades.

Two years ago I was doing mad areobics on my stair climber at home. Many times I didn't even wear any sneakers. Just woke up and did 45 minutes of super kick ass aerobics.

They got so bad I could barely walk.
