What I can't stand are the fucking cheap Toupe's. I'll point and laugh right in the fuckers face.

Or the dreaded comb-over. It's even worse if the comb-over is obviously dyed too.

You mean the kind where the guy parts his hair a half inch above his ear and lets it grow a foot long , so he can comb it over cover his chrome dome?

:FRlol: (with all of 63 hairs.) -- Fuckin' Hilarious!

I'm nearing that half century mark and agree that things are different in the last 10 years. I look for halfcent, pappad, nelson and others of similar age group in the weightlifting, powerlifting, and martial arts forums. In C&C, I stick mostly to the political , economy, and parenting threads and stay away from the "you're hot" threads.

I'm not sure a dedicated over 40 is necessary though. I do look in the HRT as I am on it but what would we talk about outside the forums I listed other than recovery is harder, being tired, balancing career and fitness as we climb into senior management etc. We could avoid some of the mindless banter threads but would miss out on many interesting and intelligent younger people.

Guess in the end, I am split on it. If it were here, I would definitely look but not sure how active it would be.

Take a shot of Geritol and listen up, Gramps. :)
You make a very valid point. We don't want to replace or omit anyone!
But I'm am confident if we share our life experiences, in all these areas, it's won't just be for OUR benefit, but for the younger guys as well. To view some experience from those of us who have BEEN there. 50 isn't 40, 40 isn't 30...25, etc. We share and learn from each other.

At any rate, we have own own forum primarily for us, but open to anyone of any age.

I love your enthusiasm hc, and in spirt, I agree. But I must say, another thing to consider is this; if someone posts any age related questions, will it immediately be moved to the "Over 40 " forum?

As it stands, I don't see the purpose for so many separate forums. When you attend a party, there aren't room delegated to topics of conversation. Why should that be the case here?

Gramps?!? I'm not as old as you codger. :)

I already rethought my statement and posted as such. I do think there are many issues that concern us that are different than when we were in our 20s or 30s. You are right on the mark with this request and i would be a frequent visitor.
