Hello all,

I am 34 years old, female, 2 kids and married. My husband has been working out hard for 3 months and is looking great. Now its my turn.\\
I injured my back about 7 years ago and have never been the same. Herniated disk's, bulged disk's, spina bifida oculta ( I am able to walk etc.. I didnt even know I had it until I fell.) Degenerating disks,,,,all these in the lower back. Since then I have gained about 50 lbs. It is hard to do repetative movement- bending forward, and painful to bend backwards. But I am sure it will get easier with time once I start working out. I am currently 170lbs, 4'11 and weak, no energy etc...

I need to get my @** in gear and get fit again. I just dont know where to start. My plan is to drop that 50lbs, the sooner the better. I dont want to look like a body builder, but I want to look GREAT!

Can I start taking LIPOSTIM3 and LIPOFLAME right away or should I wait until I can actually work out for 30 minutes without stopping? Or if you can suggest any other supp's that would be great.... Diet recommendations etc...

Thanks
LU

Hi Lu~
I wanted to welcome you to EF and to let you that there are many wonderful ladies on here(and gents too) that will answer all your questions.
Hang in there~ You will be back on your feet in no time:heart:

Hi lucy, and welcome. I gifted you a week of free plat so that you can search the archives. There is a wealth of information on the site that can be of use to you.

First things first is, we need to not look at supplements just yet. They are something you can add to an already fine tuned routine of workouts and proper diet, and really will not work if everything else isn't in place. Lets start with what you are eating and when. Can you give us a sample day of the kinds of foods you are eating, how much of them, how you are spacing your meals, etc?

Hay little lady. Welcome to elite. We are happy you chose to post up. It takes a lot to step out even on a msg board. You have taken the first steps on the long road to a better more healthy you.

We are all more then happy to help you every step of the way. Become friends, share out experiences with you and hopefully hear some of yours as well. changing your life is about much more then a few supplements.

First it takes a drive and dedication. This starts with a desire. A desire to change or become better tomorrow then you are today. I believe you have some level of desire. After all you made this thread.

Once you have a desire then you can turn it into drive and dedication (which we all love to help each other with). The next thing you are going to need is knowledge and experence. This does not come over night.

However we learn from each other daily here on elite. We all pitch in and teach each other threw experence. We help each other keep going. Push one another. Its great.

First thing is first though. We must all take steps to change things in our lives to achieve our desires. You desire to be in better shape. To be more healthy. So the first steps you must take is of course (diet and training)..

Yup its the part every one hates at first. They want to make it as easy as they can. Hell if they can get away with not doing it at all that be even better right? WRONG.. Nothing is going to change for you still you start learning what really works for you in the ways of diet and training.

So please tell us about your diet and your training. We want to help. We want to get you eating right and training right. Its hard at first. Change is always hard. But once you have been doing it a month or more it starts to become like clockwork.

Thank you for coming here to elite. It can change your life if you take the advice given here. If you make some friends and learn from them. Pick a mentor out of the woman here and learn from them. They care because some one did it for them. Now they turn and pass it on.

Nice to meet you. welcome to elite.

Needto is on the money. Posting for the first time is one of the hardest things to do. So you are already on your way to getting what you want.
Now list everything you eat and drink for a day. No need to hide anything... we all know how hard it is. I'm still fighting keeping it clean. One day at a time.
Please list how you work out too.
If you do the above you will get responses that will super charge your results. I think you will be really excited to see how your body responds to the foods that will be recomended to you.
BTW. I was in a pretty good accident and I have two herniated disks. Four degenerative disks. Two are almost completely gone. Its tough but we can still do it. We just have to be a little more cautious and creative. Overcoming what you have will make your results all the more special to you.
Stick around in the forum long enough and your motivation will increase. That means your results will too. As you start making progress you in turn will then be motivating other people too! :)

Hi Lucy and welcome!

Before you take any fat burners you need to get your nutrition in check first.
Can you please post what you eat and drink through the day?
I'm more then happy to help you with your diet. Try to be specific!

Hi and welcome.

If you want some help with your training routine, please post it up and we can have it fit your lifestyle and be as effective as possible.

Thanks all for your reply's.... I have started to eat breakfast everyday- green tea with 1/2 swtner and 1cup cantalope or oatmeal pancakes with bottle water or 2 hard boiled eggs (-the yoak)and green tea. -Snack-LF Cheese. Lunch-Salad with chicken or tuna, little dressing & bottle or water, Snack-vegg or fruit Dinner-fish or chicken with steamed veg & salad and bottle water. All meat and fish is broled or backed. I have added Bison meat and Ostrich to my menu once a week in place of chicken or fish.. I do not drink enough, as I usually do not drink the whole bottle of water with or after my meals and its hard to for me to drink any extra..But I am trying. I will have flavoured water after dinner. I do not get 8 glasses of water daily ever..... I joined Curves-club for woman and am doing there training 5 days a week. However I barely break a sweat and my heart rate is allready at 140 -20 minutes into the 30 min workout, and they tell me to slow down. But I feel like I could go harder and havent really done much. I think there machines suck and want to go to a reg gym instead, which I will be changing by the end of May. I also use my treadmill 30 min a day. This has only been the last week though....but i am sticking to it.

Hi Lucy,

First, you need to eat more food in order to jump start your metabolism.

I'll tell you what you should eat and what you should avoid.

Try having at least 5 meals a day consisting of something like this:

Meal #1 1/3 cup of oatmeal or cream of buckwheat with 3 or 4 scrambled egg whites for now. At some point you can add a yolk, but not yet.

#2 If you train in the mornings, have a protein shake with water, post training.

#3 Chicken or turkey or tuna fish or lean meat with a salad and vegetables or brown rice.

#4 Same as 3, but with sweet potato and some vegetables.

#5 Fish and green vegetables. Keep it light in the evenings since at that point you don't need to have high carbs food.

Please, don't have flavor water. The substitute sugar will trigger sugar cravings and will slow down the fat burning process.

Have lots of plain water (3/4 of a gallon, as well as green tea). Green tea will serve as an anti oxidant.

Right now you don't really need a snack by having 5 or more small meals a day. Try to avoid too much fruit, processed foods such as pasta and bread and any sugary foods or drink. If you have a sweet tooth, sweet potato will help you curve that urge, so have it frequently.

Any questions, please ask!

Thanks for your suggestion....I will try that out, but I have a hard time eating and drinking enough, especially drinking. I used to get sick when I drank alot of water at one time, anything more than 1 cup and it would come right back up again. I can now handle 2 cups but need at least 15 minutes to get it down and it stays down. IBS is the only stomach problem I have but water is as plain as it gets, I dont know why this used to happen. I also only have a bowel movement about 2-3 times a week, moreso 2 times. Is colon cleansing just hype, or how about hydrotherapy (enama's)?? Sorry to get a little off topic just though maybe you would know.
