My proposed diet

Ok, so how does this sound as my eating plan, to start with:

10am - 40g Readybrek (porridge) with skimmed milk

11am - 3 Crackerbread/Riveta with ham and cheese on

1pm - Salad - lettuce, tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese, waither thin ham/tuna or grilled chicken and teaspoon of mayonnaise dressing

3.30pm - Low fat yoghurt (muller light)

6.30pm - Grilled chicken/steak/beefburger - I would normally have this with oven chips - is this allowed???

8.00pm - Gym

10.00pm - Not sure yet

I live at home with my mum so she does the shopping. I'm going to have to go with her one day to maybe get some protein bars or something.

Literally, this is just me starting out and I will gradually make myself eat before 10am but, for now, I'm going to leave that. But what do you think of what I propose to eat? Is crackerbread/Riveta ok to eat? I don't have any at home, they are at work, so I can't check the nutrition information.

Also, I love fries/potatoes but do I have to avoid these because they are packed with carbs? I usually have the fries oven cooked.
 
all of your nutrioion is crammed into 12 hours......so you are literally starving your body for 1/2 the day.

You need protein for your first meal and protein/fat for your last
 
I gave my suggestion on the morning meal....and no chips at dinner
 
how about adding some egg whites to your 10:00 meal (you need some protein there)?

try adding some peanut butter to your 3:30 meal?

for your 6:30 meal drop the chips and have some veggies with alittle olive oil?

and have a protein shake after the gym?

By the way, what time do you wake up in the morning, 10:00 seems kinda late for you to be having your first meal. By that time I'm getting ready to eat my 2nd.

I don't know what crackerbread is, so i can't say whether or not it's good to eat.

how about sweet potato instead of the chips or boiled potatos?
 
This is definitely where I'm going to struggle because I love potatoes so much. I get up at 8am. I am gradually going to try and make myself eat when I get up because I'm just not used to it. See, I worry that if I don't follow this way of eating properly, I'll end up getting fat. I'll definitely try to cut out a lot of the carbs, but it isn't going to be easy. What kind of carbs do you eat because surely you have to eat some.
