And how many innocent people have died because of Islam in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo , Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the birthplace of islam, good old suadia arabia just to name a few? They want, no DEMAND that we cave to their desires or the "infidel" should have his or her head chopped off. For someone to disagree with me is one thing. For someone to want to cut my head off because I do not agree with them, I kinda have a problem with that. Face the facts, wherever Islam is, so there is turmoil. Now I'll be the first to admit Christianity has it's problems, but lets address one problem at a time and you'll get your shot at "me". And I don't watch the Communist News Network. It's so skewed to the left it's about to lap itself. :D

You've been watching "akhmed the dead terrorist" on youtube haven't you?!

To a minority (number not ethnicity) of people. It just so happens that this minority scream the loudest about political correctness. Thats the wheel that gets the most grease.

Yeah I've noticed that's true as well. The "stars and bars" were part of the Georgia flag until fairly recently. Seems like all the white Georgians didnt equate it with slavery at all, but were just sentimental about it.

southern slaves were well treated-mostly considered family

Well that opens-up another entire can of worms. Think about a person's house or car today. How well do they take care of their assets? Do you go beat your car with a hammer? Do you set fire to your living room? As detestible as the idea of slavery is, slaves were among a plantation owner's most valuable assets. Of course they wouldn't abuse or kill them -- any more than you'd go outside right now and break your windshield "just because you can".

And again, I reiterate -- slavery is horrible and unacceptable, but the notion that someone would willingly abuse an asset defies a ton of logic.
