He was a drop out from school......Running with the wrong group of friends.....Cops in the neighborhood tried to steer him in the right direction. Hell, when i was 16, my asss had to be in bed by 11pm.

Now the washingtonpost is trying to paint the picture that he lived in the ghetto, slept on a sofa/ottoman as his bed. Big f'ng deal... My folks came here with nothing but the clothes on their backs in 75 and did something about it.....All of us graduated college, successful to a certain degree financially....worked our way to have what we have now..

The victim is the owner of the Tahoe, not the 16 yr old or the 23 yr old that was shot...They did find a screwdrive laying near the victims, so not sure if self defense can be used.. 4 against 1 .. Chances are when this dies down from the media, he'll be charged for manslaughter or 2nd degree murder...

Still too much IMHO. They tried to take his property away. No matter if there was one or four of them, they comitting a criminal act. 2nd degree murder is exagerated.

Killed one -- that's another Darwin Award; injured one -- that's one marksmanship medal; missed two of them -- no marksmanship medal. I'd rather it had been all four of them killed (and hopefully before they fathered any little bastards) with their Darwin Awards pinned to their crotches.

But again, the gov't looks ill upon those who defend themselves against criminals; because someday they just might try to use their "Second Amendment Rights" when the gov't tries to rob them for the ten millionth time or invades their homes to brutalize them.

I assume this was a black victim defending against 4 young blacks. If the victim here was white, we'd have Mr Sharpton & company raising hell to high heaven and the FBI investigating a "violation of civil rights."
