Maximus chiefus wiggimus vs the lion

I watched gladiator and i would like peoples opinions on how to defend yourself against a 1200lb lion charging at you. Would you try the vaunted rip their front legs apart or go for the tried tested and true poke the eyeball out.

grab best friend. break his knees with a few well placed kicks, rip and ear off to get tghe blood flowing and throw him to the lion. then run like hell.

WITH YOUR CHOICE however bearing in mind its gonna try and jump at you id 'try' and hit its eyes i guess. remeber grasshopper how the crane avoided the bear by swiping at its eyes in graceful movements.

Hey buddy sorry about not knowing the specifics on certain members of the animal knigdom, when a lion rushes at you it looks like it's 1200lbs. Anyways I was thinking the danielson whooping crane kick would come in hnady. Miagi say, "tiger not expect", and I say it would work well. Any hints appreciated.
