long term damage on steroids

Agreed! I'm 65 and have sampled for 50 years. My use has changed as knowledge has increased, going from a few pills in the 60's to full bore cycles today.

All my testing says zero damage including heart, liver and kidneys, while bigger and stronger than my genetic limitations. Lost all my hair though. LOL And lots of sun damage.

You started taking steroids at 15 years of age?

cheers guys im personally trying to be careful only doing 15 week max cycles. ive only done test and deca but will be trying winstrol. ill take the winny with low dose deca so my joints stay fine. Juice has helped me alot but I always get slightly worried but its true that there are other problems. A guy between 35-45 died at the gym that i go to, he was just running on the tredmill, he had a heart attack and wasnt fat.(RIP)

Its good that if we tell each other how we are getting on especially when older men are taking them then atleast i know dangers.

I think we still don't know enough, and everyone is different and the compounds each of us take and what they do to us is also different.

The guys that seem to be *healthy*, old, happy, and still fit are the guys that were/are on moderate/therapeutic dosages and/or run HGH at a reasonable dose.

I ran a cycle that was 6-8 months long, the last 6 weeks I was on TRT dose of prop 50mg Mon/Wed/Fri..during the cycle I started at 500mg test and 300mg ace, I got all the way up to 100mg ED of ace and 1000mg a week of enan.. I have to say the best part of the cycle was the last few weeks on just low dose prop and hcg.. I think it was a combination of things, the smaller injections so pain was none, i was having libido problems and it didn't worry me so I felt focused and satisfied slightly worried.. My progress kept going those last 6 weeks, and I think I looked my best.. At this moment a year later, I wish I would have never got off my 50mg m/w/f.. Going to see the doc today..

In the end problems with cholesterol affect a lot of organs and unfortunately some of the more important ones..liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, even our arteries.. There is no hiding AAS affects the way our bodies process lipids.

Edit: the reason i did the low dose prop at the end was due to the length of time and dosage i was on with the ace.. I was having some serious fina flop when I went from 700mg a week to 300mg for a week and then when I ran out the following week it was downhill for my sex life.. hcg, prop, dost, cialis&viagra let my summer happen..

your post was interesting because ive never come across cycles that long!!i thought the usual length was about 12 weeks unless using T.E or E.Q etc.

have you recovered from a cycle fully? and is it common for bodybuilding pros to do these cycles all year?t

thanks, my brains filling up fast :p

im no pro.

what i did was pretty stupid, and frowned upon most users on this community.

pros do some pretty crazy shit and AAS is only the tip of the iceberg.

About fully recovering, no I never fully recovered. My libido is a bit off, meaning im not as horny as often as I used to be and my erections aren't as hard as they used to be. I'm only good for one round of sex a day, in my natural, overweight days I could easily knock out 3 a day and 2 was my norm. On cycle..I thought I had herpes from the raw chaffing I got. Right now I take 25mcg a Cialis every 4-5 (friday) and it seems to bring me back to my usual self. which is weird.. cialis shouldn't affect my T levels in the morning but it feels like it does.

Granted - libido is not an indicator for T levels.

Anabolic steroids can lead to early heart attacks, strokes, liver tumors, kidney failure, and serious psychiatric problems. Low Testosterone for life and loss of libido. High Blood pressure, diabetes, the list goes on. We all know what were doing here. I choose to be a juicer and i choose to take 12 other ancillary drugs to keep side effects at bay.

the pituitary gland controls hormone and neurotransmitter output. with the use of aas, the pituitary gland is no longer in control. long term use can affect the output of hormones which require tight regulation. as far what type of psych problems, depends on the brain of the user. chemical regulation varies from brain type to brain type. i believe there are 7 "types" of brains when it comes to chemical scenarios. a psychiatrist whose name escapes me know, of course, did a study where he did mri's on people to see brain function, relegated people to 1 of 7 groups, medicated them and then did post mri studies and found the brains to fall into the "normal" curve post medication. his theory is that everyone falls into 1 of these 7 types of brains and with specific medication, imbalances can be effectively treated creating a homeostasis in horm ones and neurotransmitters.

Damn bro, since 15!!!!

I really don't give a shit if there is anyway. Before I was a juicer I was a hard core dinker. Well for me I think this is a better habit. Almost any and everything taken to much for to long can cause problems. Lets all stop beings pussies and deal with facts of life. If you life to 60-70 you had a good long life. If you life to 80-90 yo lived a full long life and at least 5-10 of witch was spend in a nursing home or assisted living with some one whipping your ass for you.

You live any longer then that well your last 10 or more years you spent most of that wishing you were dead anyway.

So who gives a shit. Do I want to die young??? say at some where between 40-60 no not really. The chances of dieing that young from juice are pretty slim though. I think the odds are in my favor ill be making it past 60 and that is good enough for me.
