Knee Surgery Recovery

I was a competitive athlete that represented our country in 2 diff sports. I had to get my knee done. For rehab I did 12 months of HGH @ 3-4 iu/day 5 on 2 off. I also did a 15 week run of eq @ 600mg/wk. My docs and PT's were completely blown away by my recovery. Mine was not an acl...I had torn the cartlidge off down to the bone under my kneecap and they had to do a procedure called microfracture in order to stimulate new growth.

I tore my acl last september and had surgery early october. I have never used any aas yet except creatine and some no2 and I was running 3 months and 3 weeks outta surgery. My docter and PT were very suprised at how far I've came and how fast I'd came. When Jerry Rice tore his acl, he was back catching touchdowns at 3 months. Just be strong mentally because all injurys are more mental than anything else. My motivation is a friend of mine that has lung cancer, and I'm were sittin here worryin about an ACL.... come on now, just do your shit, dont be a bitch and you'll be back. Get some good creatine and read up on acl injurys if nobody is around you to inform you the best way of coming back. Just my 2cc... Good Luck

Yes, I explain lucidly why the war is a waste and you respond with mindless drivel. If you can make a case for this war, then maybe I can be persuaded. The bottom line is all the mass graves and bullshit that Saddam has done were caused because we betrayed the Kurds in the Desert Storm. Asking them to rise up and when they did we bailed on them. Saddam should have been eliminated 14 years ago, but powers knew that there would be a lot of money to be made in the future by leaving him in power.

Anyway, If my brother was in Iraq I would want to be there too. Just to protect him... fuck the objective, because it is bullshit propaganda anyway.

This is very good advise. I have had both knees done. My right took longer to recover than my left, but AS isn't your answer. Determination and hard work will get you the results you are looking for. Running in a pool is a great exercise with no impact, leg extentions with high reps, lunges when you are able for stabilizers. Add weight as you get stronger. Good Luck.

bro, been there, had the same surgery, along with wrist reconstruction and a foot reconstruction(at different times).....I took HGH post surgery with the knee and foot surgeries and my doctor did tell me my recovery was much quicker than normal, i personally don't think the deca "lubrication" will benefit you because you are basically trying to strengthen the ligament graft they put in your knee and make it as strong as a real ligament which takes lots of time....if you can afford it, go for the HGH, i know it works bro

I have used over the counter HGH, sublingual spray to no help. I have also used Andro. Basically I have tried everything from GNC and Vitamin World and I have not had any success. Like I said, I am 6 months out and I still can barely run. According to Army protocol, I should be almost completely recovered. What is the difference between the HGH I was trying and anything listed here?

first off the shit you were using is NOT NOT NOT NOT HGH, its is bullshit sublingual spray the market to people who will buy it, its JUNK, you need a REAL injectable HGH bro

Dude,

IMHO the best thing for you to do is let it heal naturally. If you start doing suppliments your going to push yourself harder than you normally would and your going to tear that bad boy all over and again than you'll really be screwed.

Thats the best advice yet.
I have had TWO ACL reconstructions and a Carticel Cartilige transplant. Talk about fucked up knees, 8 surgeries total to fix them. Take your time and be patient. If your ligament has not affixed itself properly, you may be in for some long term problems. I'd have a long sitdown discussion with your MD and ask what your options are, ie giong back in and anchoring the sucker back in place. What did you replace it with? patella, hamstring tendionosis, cadaver? They each have their own set of issues with rehab and speed of recovery.
If you push yourself too hard, you can end up with additional injuries. An ACL is a drop in the bucket compared to cartilige injuries, they usually last a lifetime and take FOREVER to heal, I was out 2 whole years on my Carticel Transplant. I'm a professional athlete myself, so i can understand your chomping at the bit to get back to your boys, but you have to help yourself first. Hey, at least you have a place to sleep, and income while your on the mend........ some people don't have that luxury. Good luck.
