A d&c is a dilation and cutterage (sp?). Basically, it's a female thing. It is very common. Don't worry, DaisyD, especially if it's being done to get rid of early endo. My girlfriend had it done due to endo and scar tissue buildup from fibroids. It is uncomfortable, like a really bad cramp. You'll be sore for a few days, but it will get better. Good luck!
