I never say the N word.....

any time I had a friend or co-worker use the N word I imediately lost all respect for them and never spoke to them from that day forward, I also never forgot that they used it. I have no idea why a white man would say it in front of a black man and think it would be no big deal. For some reason white people feel they have to use the word...perhaps to see what my reaction would be or maybe they just hated me I'll never know but it has happend as far back to childhood so that's pushing 40 years of me hearing this shit. and i'm not even in the states lol

Never trust whitey

i do not use that word, i don't see the point in replacing someone's name with it, but i also don't get worked up over it when it is used in my presence.

The beauty of the word is that we (white people) don't have to say it - even if I did it wouldn't be a big deal, you sensitive faggots.

...the words we use shape who we are.

Admittedly I cuss far too often, though that has changed a great deal since I've moved to the Bible Belt. The blush-factor is multiplied a thousand times when your husband whispers to you, "Honey, you just used the F-word like 10 times in front of the deacon... and his wife." :worried:

Back in Jersey, nearly everyone has a potty-mouth.

I do prefer the gentility of the south... still, when the setting is proper and a man needs to be emasculated, I don't think a cuss word here and there is out of line.

I detest the n-word nearly as much as I detest the c-word, and a host of other words that are meant purely to demean another human being.

I get satisfaction out of pointing out the weakness in a person's arguement/lack of character rather than to reduce myself to simple "name-calling"... I mean, doesn't that immediately:

1. invalidate my point of view

2. reduce me to *their* level?

Yeah, It fucks ya up...
More than most ever know.

it's just a goddamn word

one with a history. i highly recommend you do not use it freely in public.....just sayin. i'm bored so i will bestow upon u people info about the word that shall not be spoken.

"why black people use the word "nigga". one of the reasons has to do with taking the derogatory meaning of the word, reclaiming it by the group who it is intended for...and using it as a casual means for reference or identification, thus losing the negative potency of the word. The word "Nigga" was once used as a derogatory description of black peeps. It was meant to insult and demean. So the black peeps took the word back and objectified it into a 'positive meaning.' referring to each other as "nigga's" as a form of recognition, thus, derailing the insult."

i mean what better way to diffuse anything with a negative connotation then to recognize it right? if someone calls me the "C" word and i say "sure i am", they have no more amo with which to keep going, so they'd have to think of something completely different. does that make sense?

peeps around Houston use it all the time. Many Hispanics and good number of white folks. its like a right of passage or something for a nonblack to be able to use it. like welcome to the community or something, your a cool bro homey or whatever. yet it doesn't end there as some black folks don't see any humor in the word, so to them it will always be a word that will offend and anger them, thus it is not wise to use it all together. you just never know who you might want to bash you head in hearing u utter "the word that shall not be spoken" Its very complicated!!

I just smile at people because i know... that tomorrow when they wake up, they will still be them..

lol....awesome!

so asians should call each other chinks and whites should call each other white trash, mexicans call each other beaners and spics and wetbacks...?
