I miss a lot of 90's music

I think bands like Audioslave, QoTSA, and TOOL are still doing good things. But, there was just so much good music when Metallica was putting out good stuff, as was Pearl Jam and Nirvana, NIN, Temple of the Dog, Rage, Soundgarden, etc.. Things were at least somewhat exciting. Now there's too much retardedness and it's no fun. Too much other shit getting way too much airtime. I used to like listening to the radio, and I mean I REALLY liked it. Waiting to hear certain songs come on by at least a few different bands that were good. Now, there's like nothing at all. Nothing. You have to really know where to look.

On another note, I'll stop posting now. I'm sorry for being like curling.

You can take Metallica and shove them up your cavernous asshole. Other than that I have to agree with ya.

No I didn't. i just wasn't sure anyone would agree with me. :)

I don't have the energy to argue with c-sharp. Trust me though, if I did I'd win the argument for sure.

Radio has always SUCKED (except College stations)

Metal today is waaaaaaay better than ever before (and I mean METAL, not Linkin Park shite).

And todays Darkstep/jungle is amazing.

The seatle sound movement in the early 90's really gave rock music a kick in the ass.. I still love that sound.. Emphasis on the music, and not the vocals.. and those were some pretty damn good muscians.. Im sure back in the day many of these guys would be labled 'virtuoso'.. The melodies and grooves had a lot of power, which made up for the lack of meaning in the mostly shallow lyrics, i.e. bad love, being high, chicks...

Pearl Jam is still awesome, they are still my favorite band. People think they arent as good now because they dont put out hits that are like jeremy, evenflow, and alive. granted i like these songs, but they have shit that is so much better than that..

Just my opinion
peace
