I get so f*cking pissed off!!!

What aggravates me is when two or three jackasses sit around on a piece of equipment and converse about how their day is going or what their plans are for the weekend. I work out on a military base and the officers are known for having their little circle jerks in there. Being a former enlisted Marine, I love disruptrupting their social gatherings. I'm not exactly sure what I would do if someone asked me to lift more quietly. I know whoever it was, would not appreciate it though.

Theres two guys in the gym I go to that grunt every rep..and the spotter barks and grunts at him every rep as well. Its one thing to grunt and bark the last 2 hard reps but to do it the whole time I find unnessacry. To me guys that do that are just wanting attention

I think the general rule is that if you are big enough to be lifting fairly heavy and you're putting effort in, then you can scream. Nothing looks ridiculous as some skinny guy screaming while lifting 50 lbs.

Nice to hear that from a female, girls tend to be frightend by guys screaming at the gym.

she grunts louder than most males i konw........lol.

just look at him with a blank stare........ rub your nuts the whole time he's talking........ say yes and appologize for being rude. then yell louder and slam the weights down. if he comes back to say something again, pull the same nut rubbing open mouth blank stare look and again appologize........... then he will think your mentally handicapped and leave you alone.

either that, or tell him you know arnold presonally, and this is what he did getting ready for the 1975 mr o.

People like you piss me off. There is a limit to the amount of noise that is acceptable.

Have you ever been doing you hardcore program at the gym and been interrupted in the middle of a set by some idiot asking you if you cant lift the weights a little quieter. When Im lifting heavy weights Im not the most silent guy in the gym ;)

The last time I was interrupted like this was in the middle of my biceps routine.
I was so close of throwing my 65 pounds dumbells at his ugly face.

How do you guys handle all thoose idiots?

That would piss me off too.

at my gym its this guy there who is insistant upon making people put up their weights well everytime i do deadlifts or bench in the power rack, this fool makes an announcement to "not slam the weight" and i usually keep doin it because i'll be there long after that asshole is gone. he also likes walking front of people while they are working out. i hate that shit don't i don't pay him no mind until the "big dogs" of the gym have something to say about it...in which case they won't. tb

I remember at this gym I used to train at there was a guy who would scream his way through every rep of every set no matter what exercise....I know all of you belive in "intemsity" and being hardcore and all but there is a limit. I don't wear headphones b/c I don't like them, and therefore I do not have a way to drown out captain full body curl while he screams his way to a pump. The shit gets distracting....sounds like he is giving birth for gods sake. If you are one of these guys please realize that there are people who go to the gym and workout just as hard as you and find a way to not let everyone else know how tough their set was.

I have never screamed when I am working out. I have grunted and started hyper ventilating when I am struggling with that last rep but not loud enough so that people more than 5 feet from me could hear. What is the point of screaming? Just start ventilating or swear under your breath and bottle your emotions. I find that it helps more. Nothing more annoying than some retard screaming his way through reps 1 to 10. Wtf does that accomplish? Nothing. It just annoyes everyone around you and makes you look like a spoon bending tard.
